Hello and welcome.
My name is Bianca Campbell.
I am keeper of the metamorphosis and I'm very excited to have to be here supporting you on Insight Timer through learning about cycle support.
So this is obviously for women.
And this series is for women who are cycling at the moment.
Who are menstruating at the moment,
Women who are perimenopausal,
Even if you're postmenopausal,
Or even if you do not have your reproductive organs any longer,
Series is for you.
Now,
An immediate question that may come up is,
Well,
How do I use this series if I'm not on a cycle,
If I no longer have a cycle?
And if that's the case,
I recommend that you follow the cycles of the moon.
So,
For example,
What that means is when the moon is waxing,
So coming into a full moon,
That's when you follow the inner spring.
Program or in a spring video.
When the moon is at full moon,
That's the ovulatory.
Ovulation.
When the moon is waning,
That's the luteal phase.
And then finally,
When you are menstruating,
That's the new moon phase.
So I would strongly recommend that you follow in this manner to bring your.
.
.
Emotional energetic system into a rhythm,
A cycle.
This is the most natural way that women.
Our bodies behave this way.
That is how we are formed and how we operate.
And when we disconnect from our cycles,
Which is very easy to happen in the modern world.
Then we can feel disconnected from ourselves because we're out of sync with our own.
Inherent innate nature.
I would really recommend that you follow this series in the order that I've laid them out.
So even if you're cycling and you're in a different place,
I strongly recommend you start with the inner spring.
That's the follicular phase.
I recommend you start there because that's how I have built the visualizations to start from inner spring,
Slowly build through to ovulation,
Through to the luteal phase,
And finally through to menstruation where the final release is.
You can choose to operate in a different way.
You can choose to listen to them in a different manner.
However,
The visualizations each builds upon the other.
So until you listen to all of them,
It might not make quite as much sense.
So I also want to explain why I'm sitting here right now.
Why am I choosing to do this particular recording in front of this interesting looking plant behind me?
So if you don't know,
This is actually a dragon fruit behind me.
I've been actively growing them in my garden for a few years.
And in the last 12 months,
They have started to fruit,
Which has me very excited.
So you can see there is actually a fruit on the top of the plant there.
It's actually sitting on a,
We've actually put a pole with actually a bicycle.
A bicycle wheel on top,
And that's what the plant sits upon because they need support.
They're very.
.
.
They get very heavy,
Those plants.
And for me,
Dragon fruits.
Not only are they delicious,
But they really represent fertility.
And it's also represented patience for me.
It's taken like almost three years for these plants to start to fruit.
And all about the cycle and trusting the cycle.
When a plant fruits,
It will fruit when he's ready.
So unlike the human body,
Obviously,
I'm sure you know,
Plants will fruit generally once or twice a year.
Some plants do fruit all year round,
But a lot of plants.
.
.
Or choose to fruit in a specific season.
And when you think about it,
That's what we're going to do.
We're going to open ourselves up to the seasons.
It's not just the moon.
It's also the seasons.
That's why we go from spring to summer to autumn or called fall in your,
Possibly if you're from a different part of the world,
Into winter.
In the same way,
Plants have their own cycle.
And human bodies have our own cycle.
We follow the moon cycle with that.
Might be a 28-day cycle for you.
It might be shorter.
It might be longer.
It is okay.
Your body knows what it's doing.
So trust its intelligence.
And finally,
I want to explain to you a little bit about kinesiology or applied kinesiology,
Because that is the basis of what we're going to be using,
Which is going to underpin the energetic healing work that we do through these,
What I call morphing sessions.
That's the metamorphosis.
And the aim of the metamorphosis is to get you from one state to another state so that there is change by the end of the practice.
And it's really important that you understand that kinesiology or applied kinesiology came from traditional Chinese medicine mixed with chiropractic.
I won't go into the history of it,
But it's really important that you understand that.
And if you were working face to face with me,
There's no cracks,
There's no needles.
It's very gentle.
It's non-invasive.
And it basically encourages your body to come into homeostasis or balance.
And you will use gentle techniques on yourself to bring your body to this harmonious state.
So I'll show you one right now,
Which we will be using through each of the four sessions.
So I want you to take your right hand and place it across your forehead.
Now this,
What this does is it encourages blood to come forward to the front of your prefrontal cortex.
I'm going to explain a bit more once we've done the process so that you don't have to hold your hand here the whole time.
So as you can see,
Your thumb's in your hairline,
Fingers are parallel to your mouth.
Left hand goes in front of you as though you're saying stop to someone.
You open out your thumb and your hand,
Your left hand,
Should make the capital L.
So you know you've done it right.
If your left hand,
As you look at it,
Is the capital L.
Take your right hand down,
Taking your second and third fingers of that right hand,
Trace a line from the bridge of your nose to your hairline three times,
Twice.
Three times.
And what that does is that puts this into your energetic circuit.
And let me explain a little bit more about what this does.
Now,
If you think about your prefrontal cortex,
You may not have heard the term.
That's the part of your brain that sits right behind your forehead.
And that part of your brain is responsible for all your executive processing,
Your decision making,
Your ability to think critically.
These are all functions that develop.
Into your 20s so you know how you see children they do really crazy stuff or really spontaneous stuff.
It's like they haven't made any kind of conscious thought about what they're doing.
That is literally because this part of their brain is not yet developed.
And what happens is,
Is they're stuck in their,
What's often called the reptilian brain,
Which is sort of the back of your brain.
It all sits in on the brain stem,
Which is what actually grew at the start when you were inside your mother's womb as a tiny,
Tiny little speck.
And that limbic brain is responsible for your fight or flight mechanisms.
It allows you to know,
Okay,
I'm in danger.
I'm going to get out of here really fast and not have that be a thought process.
Rather,
It is instinctual.
We are trying to get you out of that today and move you out of that and into your critical thinking processing where you're also able to really calm your nervous system down.
I cannot stress enough how much calming your nervous system is going to support all your fertility,
All your cycling.
The calmer you can be,
The more you allow your natural.
.
.
Rhythm your natural instincts to just rise and lift up.
And that's what we want to bring ourselves back to.
I believe we have disconnected ourselves from nature.
We have disconnected ourselves in our modern world from our basically historical connection to nature,
Which is where we recognize the cycles,
Where we recognized our connection to Mother Earth,
Where we recognized our connection to what I believe is our divinity.
Now I look forward to supporting you in the following.
Practices feel free to drop me a question if you have any I am really excited to support you and to see together what we can create So today we're talking about our follicular.
Phase of the menstrual cycle,
Women's cycle.
This is all about supporting you.
Through your cycle.
Now,
This phase is about spring and spring relates to the wood element in traditional Chinese medicine.
As I mentioned in the introduction,
A lot of what I do is underpinned by kinesiology or applied kinesiology.
And the wood element is about new growth.
It's about spring.
You know,
When everything comes alive,
When all the plants start to go crazy,
The birds and the bees go crazy.
That's all about the new growth,
The newness coming.
And that's what's happening inside your body when you are building.
This egg is being ready to be released.
It is being supported.
Even if you do not have a reproductive system,
As we've discussed,
Your body is coming into this phase of new growth,
Of new life.
And you want to support your body with fresh,
Light foods at this time.
And you want to focus on healthy fats and lean proteins and really giving yourself a really effective,
Efficient way for your body to be supported at this time.
So this is a time to start new projects.
It's the time to,
You'll have like a surge in your energy level.
You will come out of the quiet phase of the menstrual cycle where it's more the winter.
And here you've got more energy.
And just like the seasons around you and the spring that I mentioned,
You're going to be bringing new life in.
So you've got this like,
There's this surge of energy rising upwards.
It's a productive time.
You've got to drive to exercise.
You've got to drive to create.
There's this creativity energy.
On new projects.
There's an increase in motivation and you may find yourself really optimistic and sociable and wanting to be adventurous and doing stuff.
This is a perfect time for that.
What we're going to start with is we're going to start with a couple of little energetic practices,
Kinesiology practices.
So you're going to start by rubbing just a different parts,
A couple of different parts of your body.
So we're going to start with rubbing a point for the liver.
Now your liver is on the right hand side of your body.
So go to the right of your body.
This may get mirrored as often videos get mirrored.
You're going to go to the right side of your body.
This is my right side.
And you're going to go directly below your rib cage.
There's going to be like a tender spot right at the bottom where before it.
How do I explain this?
So you've got the curve of your rib cage.
You're going to go kind of the bottom of that.
And you're going to put a flat hand like this.
You're going to rub like this and you may find it sensitive you actually want to try and rub it mine's a bit sensitive you want to rub that nicely and firmly And while you're doing that,
I want you to think about this new growth that's starting to build inside your body,
This new.
.
.
Energetic phase that your body's coming into.
And breathe through this.
So you're going to rub for about a minute or so.
And then you can relax that down.
And now hopefully this doesn't distract the microphone.
You are going to basically take from where the top of your collarbone is,
So where your collarbone is,
To where the bottom of your sternum is,
Which will be right around your bra line.
You're going to measure about halfway between those so for me it's about there that's about halfway And then you're going to just go like literally a rib up and you're going to rub in there quite firmly.
I'm just going to show you that again in case you missed it.
So you've got your.
.
.
Clavicle so your collarbone go down to pretty much the bottom of your bra line and just find a spot it's about halfway you're going to rub in there so i like to rub with all of my index third and fourth finger.
Can use your fourth as well your pinky as well Rub,
Rub,
Rub,
Rub,
Rub,
Rub.
You've got to be firm.
And so you're rubbing on either side of your sternum.
So sternum being that.
The breastbone essentially and you want to rub like in between your ribs so you want to be rubbing on the ribs you want to find those spots in between the ribs.
And they should be,
You'll find them normally a little bit sensitive because it's not a spot that you often will rub.
Mine are really sensitive right in there.
So this is a gallbladder point.
Again,
It's all about.
.
.
The wood element,
New life.
Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba and relax down.
Now we're going to do ESR again,
Which we did in the introductory video.
I'm going to repeat that with you now.
We are going to do this for every one of the practices.
So taking your right hand,
Place it across your forehead.
Left hand in front of you as though you're saying stop.
Open out your thumb.
Second and third fingers and trace a line Gently from the bridge of your nose to your hairline three times.
Once,
Twice,
Three times.
Now place everything down.
Closing down your eyes.
I'm going to close mine as well.
Closing down your eyes,
Taking a deep breath in.
Hold for a moment and exhale.
Once more breathe in Hold and exhale.
See yourself inside a room.
That represents your womb.
Even if you no longer have a womb.
Picture that place inside your body.
This room is comfortable.
It's warm.
And coming into this season of new growth and new life,
You are going to furnish this room in the most beautiful.
.
.
Luxurious way that feels right,
Just right for you.
Lay a beautiful carpet or rug on the floor.
Place pictures or photos that have meaning to you on the walls.
Perhaps you have a sofa or a comfortable chair or perhaps even a bed.
In this room.
With comfortable pillows and cushions and blankets and throws and whatever colour or style feels right for you.
Maybe there's a fire or perhaps there's not.
You get to choose every single piece that is in this space.
Your sacred space.
Your most beautiful sacred space.
That.
Comes and begins as pristine and will be built through your choice,
Through your love,
Through your dedication to you.
In one corner set out an altar.
And on this altar place the softest.
The softest piece of fabric that you could possibly imagine in the most gorgeous color that fits exactly into this space.
On this altar.
Place a beautiful candle that represents the light in you,
That represents your creativity,
That represents all that you are.
In this cycle.
In this moment of the cycle and what is to come.
Prepare this room.
And place things of importance to you on this altar.
Perhaps crystals.
Perhaps flowers.
It's completely up to you.
To lovingly place these items that represent your creativity.
That represent your devotion to yourself.
That honor.
All that a woman is.
And experiences in life even She is fertile even if she chooses to not have children.
Honor yourself.
Honor the seasons.
Honor the cycles.
And recognize within yourself.
The nature.
That you are part of the divinity that you are part of.
Your feminine essence,
Your feminine energy.
Perhaps there is a statue or something on the wall that represents.
Feminine.
Part of yourself that can often be forgotten.
Remember it now.
And honor her with this.
Tribute to her.
And as you settle yourself down in the most comfortable place.
In this room that you have chosen.
Look around you with satisfaction,
With love,
With acceptance for all you are creating,
Knowing that everything is in the right time.
It's all happening for you.
And love to yourself gratitude to yourself appreciation to yourself for all that you do for holding of this energy honoring this energy.
Surrender to the new life and the new growth that is building within you.
And when you are ready.
You can come back into the space you're in.
Back into the room.
Gently feeling your feet on the ground.
Opening your eyes Looking around you.
Remember the last thing that you ate.
And remember this sacred space.
Is always within you.
Always going through a cycle.
I look forward to seeing you in the next video.
