Carve out a short window of deep rest for yourself. Let's bring your body to calm and stillness through a visualisation. Turning off your mind, and bringing you into your heart space. Hello lovely welcome to this short focus on deep rest.

You have two options in this session,

You can choose to do legs up the wall,

A yoga pose where you place a yoga mat on the floor and you put your legs in a vertical position straight up the wall so that you look like an L shape your entire body or you can choose to lie down,

Place your hands on your belly or on the floor next to you.

Close down your eyes,

Take a deep breath in,

Hold for a moment and exhale.

Once more breathe in,

Hold for a moment and exhale.

In your mind's eye see a switch at the back of your head as though you were a machine,

An on off switch.

It is now time for deep rest and it is time to turn the switch to the off position allowing your mind to settle as you switch off all thoughts of the moment,

Anything that's happening right now.

Turn those thoughts off,

Imagine blinds coming down over your mind that come all the way around your head.

Allow all the blinds to come down as your mind winds its way down.

Bring your attention into your heart,

All your focus into your heart space,

See if you can feel the beating of your heart.

Allow your body to begin to find deep rest,

Stillness.

All your attention in your heart space where all your inspiration,

Connection to your soul occurs.

Focus there in your heart,

Breath as it comes in,

Goes out.

Just notice it,

Feel how much love your soul has for you,

Feel how you do not need to be anywhere but still in this moment.

Feel a deep sense of peace radiate out from your heart through to the remainder of your body.

Just tuning in to your heart,

Beautiful heart of yours that has been working your entire life for you.

Feel appreciation for all the cells that are beating on your behalf,

Pumping blood through your body just for you.

Feel deep gratitude and appreciation for what they've provided,

What they provide in every moment and what they've provided for every single moment of your entire life.

The cells that make up your heart,

Send blessings of love and appreciation to that beautiful heart of yours.

See yourself connecting a cable that goes all the way down into Mother Earth,

This is your electrical charging station.

Feel it begin to re-energize your battery and feel your battery just as an electrical car would.

Feel Mother Earth refueling you deeply all the way to your core so that your batteries feel completely recharged.

Feel yourself slip even deeper into peace in this moment.

When you're ready,

Slowly bring yourself back,

Raise the blinds from your mind,

Turn the switch back to on,

Gently wiggle your fingers,

Gently wiggle your toes.

If you're lying with your legs up the wall,

Gently bring your legs down and then turn on your right hand side into a fetal position.

Take your time,

Stretch if it feels good,

Open your eyes and sit up and gently return to your day.
