Imagine that the flow of your life is like a river or stream. Flow downstream on your canoe towards everything you want in life, instead of pushing against and trying to paddle upstream. This meditation is inspired by Abraham Hicks.

Transcript

Start by settling yourself into a comfortable position and closing down your eyes.

Take a deep breath in.

Hold for a moment.

And breathe out.

And again another breath in.

And exhale and relax.

Begin by feeling into your own energy.

Are you pushing against the things that you desire in your life?

Or are you going with the flow of your own stream of energy?

Picture yourself inside of a canoe.

Feel it.

Hear it.

Sense it.

Whichever way it makes sense for you.

And it's the perfect size.

It fits you perfectly.

It surrounds your body.

And in this canoe,

You are riding on the stream of energy that is your life.

I want you to feel the energy of your desires.

Feel the energy of the things that you want in your life.

Then conversely,

I want you to turn around and feel how pushing against what you want is going against that energy.

Pushing against,

Focusing on all the reasons you can't have those things.

All the things that stand in your way.

All the barriers between you and what you desire.

And feel how that is kind of like trying to paddle upstream.

It's like you're trying to paddle your little canoe against the stream and current of that flow.

It's like you're putting your oars into the water and you're paddling against the current and paddling hard.

Feel how strong the current you're paddling against is and how futile it is to knowing yourself what you really want and your true nature.

Now take another deep breath.

And exhale.

Now I want you to trust and I want you to drop the oars.

I want you to drop all of the reasons why you think you can't have what you want.

All of the things that go on consciously and unconsciously.

Let go of all of your concerns.

All the worries.

All the fear.

All the anxiety.

And any other negative emotion that might be arising for you.

Now breathe out those emotions.

Breathe out the sense of I can't.

Now take your oars out of the water.

And as you do so,

Feel the current start to pick up the front of your canoe and nudge it and turn around your canoe really slowly,

Easily,

Gently.

Feel in your body,

In your entire being,

The current beginning to tug you inside your canoe downstream.

Release the need to control your canoe.

Release the need to control the current.

Release all the thoughts that hold you back.

Trust that the current will take you where you want.

Trust that the current of life knows exactly what you want.

Trust that the current is leading you towards your dreams.

Feel the ease of flowing with the stream of life,

The stream of your life.

Feel the ease of all of your desires coming into fruition.

Know that your canoe will safely navigate the current.

Know that you created the flow of the current through your life experience.

It's all come from you.

And know that you are in the right place and that you can never really go wrong.

Know that you are divinely held,

Loved,

And supported always.

And so it is.
