Okay,
Let's center and settle.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Welcome to a hit of hope.
Have you ever felt like an abandoned building?
Hollow,
Empty,
Forgotten.
Many times the windows in buildings like that are broken.
And the thing about a broken window is that it is never going to fix itself.
Someone or thing might come along and maybe even break it more,
But the broken window cannot be repaired until someone shows up.
Someone with skill and wisdom,
Time,
Attention,
And care.
Someone who is ready to handle the damaged pieces so very carefully.
Because we all know what shards can do.
Inhale,
Exhale.
In many ways the same is true of our insides.
There are things in there that are never going to fix themselves.
And those broken pieces of us can pierce us,
Especially when we aren't careful or aware.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Breathe.
Center.
Where do you feel broken?
Where do you feel shattered?
Can you set about the repair?
Imagine donning a pair of sturdy gloves,
Reaching into the broken place carefully.
Whatever is broken inside of you,
Gather the pieces up.
Hold them.
Honor them.
And let them go.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Sit.
Sit with whatever comes.
Hold what is with kindness.
Hold what is with care.
Inhale,
Exhale.
The broken pieces often will not heal themselves.
So tend to the parts of you that feel broken.
Meet the shards with care and kindness.
Then let the broken pieces go.
Sit.
Breathe.
It's all about the repair.
Do the work gently.
Do the work intentionally.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Live light and find your way to do the work that helps to make you whole.
Namaste.
