Become the observer of your thoughts. We are often consumed by our own thoughts. During this meditation simply observe your thoughts in a non-judgmental way. When we become the observer we become much more calm and relaxed in the present moment.

Hello everyone,

And welcome to this guided meditation.

Begin by getting into a comfortable seat of your choosing.

Palms can be faced down to stay grounded in the present moment.

Gently close your eyes or find a gazing point.

Begin to bring the focus to your breathing.

Every inhale,

Every exhale,

The rise and the fall of each breath as you become more present in this very moment.

Throughout the day,

We have many thoughts that come into our mind.

It's important to realize that even though it may seem like they consume us,

That you are not your thoughts,

And that not every thought that we have is completely true.

When we are able to slow our minds down,

We are able to become the observer of our own thoughts.

I invite you now to take a few moments to yourself as you simply observe your thoughts in a non-judgmental way.

Simply let them come and go.

You may smile as each one comes,

Or you can imagine them like clouds in the sky.

They slowly drift away.

You are the observer in this present moment.

No reason to criticize or judge what you are thinking in this very moment.

Just simply observe and let go.

Good.

The more you do this throughout the day,

The more peaceful and calm you will become.

But simply come and go,

Just like birds in the sky.

Observe them,

Then move on to the next.

You're doing good.

I'm going to give you a few more moments to yourself as you become the observer.

Know that the next time you become overwhelmed or anxious,

You can always come back to becoming the observer.

As this meditation slowly begins to come to an end,

Start bringing your focus back to your body now.

Start to wiggle your fingertips and toes,

And whenever you are ready,

You may slowly open your eyes.

Thank you.

Love you.
