Animal Magic with Benedict - We have many human Archetypes - the Warrior, the Maiden, the Magician, etc. - but there is also a huge kingdom of Animal Archetypes too. Each with a different character, each with a different energy, each with different advice or gifts to give us. During our Breathwork, we will be connecting to some Animal Energy to give clarity and insight to any choices and challenges we are facing in our lives. You may be surprised at the wisdom they have!

And so let's begin our breath of animal magic.

So start to become aware of your body.

Where it is resting,

Where it is being held.

What can you feel with your ankles or your feet?

Your calves?

Your hips and your back and your shoulders and your head.

Where are they being supported?

And then start to become aware of how your body moves as you breathe.

Feel your chest rise and fall.

Feel your belly lift and lower.

Feel your chest expand and contract.

And feel the air coming in through your nose.

And then on an inhale,

Take your awareness inside.

To that still,

Quiet place.

Place of stillness.

A place of wisdom and a place of love.

Take a few breaths there.

We are going to be doing a breathe of animal magic.

When we start our breath work,

We are going to invite in an animal to come in to our awareness and come into our mind,

Come into our heart.

We are going to feel its energy.

What are the special skills of this animal?

What are its talents?

What can it do?

How can these help you?

Now I want you to feel where you want to breathe into tonight.

Is there a challenge that you are facing?

Is there an issue or is there a problem?

Is there something that is stuck that isn't working for you right now?

Where is it that you would like to breathe into tonight and where would you like to invite in some special animal magic?

In this place of stillness,

In this place of wisdom and this place of love,

Feel for a few more breaths where this is and where your breath may take you.

Where is it that you need to breathe into and feel some animal magic?

We'll have a few more breaths here and then we will start our breath work.

Now let's begin our breath work.

Open your mouth wide,

Really wide.

Start taking full body breaths.

With no pauses at the top and no pauses at the bottom.

Pull on the inhale and relax on the exhale.

A welcoming prayer for help.

What is the challenge that you are facing?

Ask and it will be given.

Your breath is the fuel that takes you on this journey.

A different challenge,

A different problem,

Different conflict.

Something else that is stuck,

You can go there too.

And open yourself up to different animals coming into.

There may be more wisdom out there,

More skills,

More energy that you need.

Invite everything in.

If there are other situations that you need help in,

Let your heart dwell on them.

And let other guides come to you as well.

Feel them fully,

Let their energy surround and lift you.

Feel how much love is in their heart.

And their wish to help you.

Breathe fully,
