Mm-hmm.
So just start by connecting with yourself and connecting with your breath.
Just connect with your breathing and yourself in a way that I guess makes sense for you and feels right and natural for you.
So just find your way into the flow of your natural breathing and kind of being right here right now in this room.
And just find your way into doing that in a way that feels I guess good and right for you today.
Allow your breath to start to kind of just naturally smooth and settle as your body and mind naturally smooth and settle.
But don't make this a need,
Maybe that's not what's happening for you right now and that's okay.
Make sure to have that sort of open honest awareness of what is for you right now,
What's my present experience of the breath,
Of myself,
Of this moment.
The pebble.
While sitting still and breathing slowly,
Think of yourself as a pebble which is falling through a clear stream.
While sinking there's no intention to guide your movement.
Sink towards the spot of total rest on the gentle sand of the riverbed.
Continue meditating on this pebble until your mind and body are at complete rest,
A pebble resting on the sand.
Maintain this peace and joy while watching your breath.
No thought about the past or the future can pull you away from your present peace and joy.
The universe exists in this present moment.
No desire can pull you away from this present peace.
Not even the desire to become a Buddha or the desire to save all beings or whatever your kind of strivings in life are.
Know that to become a Buddha and to save all beings can only be realized on the foundation of the pure peace of the present moment.
While sitting still and breathing slowly,
Think of yourself as a pebble which is falling through a clear stream.
While sinking there is no intention to guide your movement.
Sink towards the spot of total rest on the gentle sand of the riverbed.
Continue meditating on the pebble until your mind and body are at complete rest.
Allow this metaphor as you as a pebble sinking to the bottom of a riverbed or as the bed of a stream to just take shape and form within you.
Just with it that sense of clarity that finding this kind of grounded sense of stillness in the present moment is really the foundation of anything else you want to do with any other moments of your life.
So being that pebble right now,
Being still and present in this moment is the foundation for all else.
Think of yourself as a pebble which is falling through a clear stream with no intention to guide your movement.
Sinking towards the spot of total rest on the gentle sand of the riverbed.
Sinking towards the spot of total rest on the pebble.
Sinking towards the spot of total rest on the pebble.
Sinking towards the spot of total rest on the pebble.
Sinking towards the spot of total rest on the pebble.
