A journey to the heart affirmation meditation.
This is a meditation that is crafted specially to nurture and deepen your connection to your heart.
My name is Anna and I'm profoundly honored to guide you through this peaceful journey today.
In this session,
We will harness the gentle yet powerful energy of compassion and self-love in order to open our hearts.
Our heart knows the way,
But often we become disconnected from it as we get stuck in the middle of various activities and interactions in our busy lives.
With guided affirmations and mindful reflection,
You tap into the innermost feelings of yourself where you connect with love and acceptance.
This practice is designed to help you cultivate a stronger,
More meaningful connection with yourself and extend this love outwards to other people in your life.
Let's begin this journey of heartfelt connection together.
Now,
Take a moment to find a quiet space to settle yourself into a very comfortable position and you can choose here if you want to be sitting down or lying down.
As you find this space,
Close your eyes gently and let your hands rest loosely in your lap or by your sides.
And begin by taking a couple of deep breaths in,
Slowly filling your lungs.
And as you exhale,
Exhale gently,
Really using that space as an opportunity to release all the tension that might be holding into your body.
And as you continue this process of breathing deeply and evenly,
Allow your mind to quieten and your body to relax.
So,
Let's repeat that space with deep inhales through the nose and sigh it out through the mouth.
Let's do two more of those.
Inhale through the nose and exhale mouth.
Inhale through your nose and exhale mouth.
And now,
Turn into your nasal breath as you simply focus into inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the nose.
With each breath you take,
You feel your body becoming lighter and more relaxed.
As you deepen your breath,
As you relax your body,
Pay attention to any areas of tightness or maybe even discomfort.
And imagine your breath flowing into those areas and soothing them.
It's like a little cuddle that your breath makes to those parts,
So that they naturally dissolve.
So,
With every exhale,
Let go of tension.
And with every inhale,
Allow your mind to quieten and your body to relax.
Inhaling,
Expanding,
Exhaling,
Letting go.
Inhaling,
Drawing in peace and tranquility.
And exhaling,
Sinking deeper and deeper into the space.
Now,
Slowly bring your attention to the area of your heart,
Your heart center.
Maybe even bring your hands to touch your heart.
One hand over your heart,
The other hand on top of that hand.
And take a moment to feel the warmth of your palms against your chest.
Notice the steady rhythm of your heartbeat.
Feel it,
Sense it,
Connect with it.
This is the life force that exists within you.
Yes,
It's keeping you alive because you are breathing and your heart is beating.
But even more than that,
It goes beyond just beating.
It holds your uniqueness.
So,
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Allow yourself to connect allow yourself to connect closer and closer to that space of your heart.
As you deepen your breath,
Hug yourself even more as you're really feeling that space where you hold love,
Where genuine love exists.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Envision now a soft,
Warm light emanating from your heart.
This warm light is filling your entire chest with warmth and lightness.
Feel the lightness of that space that holds yourself,
That holds your heart.
And now that light,
That love takes over from your heart space and spreads across the different directions of your body.
It goes up to your throat,
Neck,
And head.
It goes to the directions of your arms and hands.
It goes to the direction down to your ribcage and your belly and lowering down through your legs and feet.
And also up to your back.
Your entire body is filled with that lightness,
With that love,
With that peace,
Your entire body is filled with that lightness,
With that love,
With that peace,
That warmth of your own heart.
And as you sit or lay down in this space of pure loving connection with your heart,
So now I'll be repeating some affirmations.
I invite you to either repeat the affirmations silently or out loud,
Allowing them to resonate deeper and deeper within your heart.
I am open and receptive to the love that surrounds me.
I am open and receptive to the love that surrounds me.
I am open and receptive to the love that surrounds me.
Repeating that internally and really allowing the words to sink deeply into your consciousness.
I allow love to feel my being and guide my actions.

My heart is open to giving and receiving love.

Again,
Repeating the words as you envision your heart expanding with each time you repeat the words.

Love flows through me enriching my entire being.

Repeating those words,
Imagining a connection from your heart to the world around you,
Strengthening each time you repeat.
I'll now be repeating the affirmations once more,
Each one of them.

Visualize the warm light in your heart expanding,
Growing brighter and more vibrant with each breath you take.
Feel this light reaching out,
Connecting you to the love and the compassion that exists around you and within you.
Taking a couple of deep breaths and just feeling into that space.
Eventually,
Bringing the hands back to your heart as you touch your heart,
As you feel it beating,
As you feel the warmth.
You gently bring your awareness back to your breath as you notice the rise and fall of your chest,
Breathing slowly and deeply.
And as you slowly start to come back,
May you remember to create spaces of connection with your beautiful heart.
Your heart knows the way,
It carries an unlimited power to go beyond what your mind keeps telling you to go beyond.
Your heart is beautiful and so you are.
May you keep feeding that loving heart of yours.
And when you're ready,
As you deepen your breath,
You can slowly wiggle your fingers and toes,
Maybe invite the fire into your heart.
And then slowly bring your hands in prayer in front of your heart,
Slowly rubbing the palms,
Rubbing the palms,
Bringing a sense of heat into your hands.
And then slowly bring your hands in prayer in front of your heart.
And then slowly bring your hands in prayer in front of your heart.
And then slowly bring your hands in prayer in front of your heart.
And then slowly bring your hands in prayer in front of your heart.
And then slowly bring your hands back to your face,
Feel the warmth,
Feel the heat of that space you've created.
And as you breathe in here,
As you get ready to step off the sacred space,
May you remember to carry the warmth and connection from this meditation with you throughout your day and week.
Remember,
You can always return to that sacred space.
All you need to do is to keep showing up again and again and again.
