Gently close your eyes,
Make yourself comfortable.
Really feel into the space beneath you and make use of gravity to sink in easy.
Let's start with some nice and gentle breath.
So good to know that we are connected to our breath since minute one and so are we to our bodies.
You are carried in this body and being supported by this body,
Even if you do live sometimes in disagreement or even pain.
I invite you today to explore how you feel in or with your body.
And maybe you join me in a little fantasy.
Let's imagine our bodies as a safe cocoon.
A warm and soft protection for our hearts,
For our souls.
Even if it seems not to be perfect,
It holds our thoughts,
The clear and the cloudy ones.
You can fill every cell with the entire range of your emotions.
Maybe you want to get in touch now with your skin.
Gently feel that it covers every bit of you from head to toe like a cocoon made of soft but flexible silk.
And maybe you can recognize your powerful bones and your precise muscles inside that made this reliable and stable framework,
Making it possible to either move on or stop and pass.
And even when winds are blowing from different directions,
You are safe in your cocoon.
And you can let yourself gently be rocked by those winds around your cocoon.
Mother Nature designs cocoons to outlast different stages of our development.
In relaxing silence or in bursting energy,
Lovingly giving you the time,
The trust and the resource to grow and be you.
Without being mad,
If you are starting from scratch over and over and over again,
Without showing much to the outside world,
You can find ease and peace in this cocoon.
Knowing that you are safe and you can take your time to open up your cocoon when the time is right.
And when the time is right,
You can gently open your eyes and come back to your precious body and your surroundings.
