Hello,

Friend.

Welcome to this moment that you have taken just for yourself.

I know what it feels like when life gets busy and your plate is full,

Everything feels like a priority and your self-care sort of slips away and one of the first things that you do is stop taking moments like this for yourself,

But you can feel it start to build and that need for a moment of peace becomes greater.

You have arrived here now and that's all that matters.

It doesn't need to be a long meditation.

You just need a moment to sit with yourself,

Maybe close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

I invite you to take a deep inhale,

Filling your belly,

And an exhale.

Every inhale brings clarity and peace and every exhale brings you closer to relaxation.

Any sounds around you,

Just let them fade away and any thoughts that creep in,

Acknowledge them and let them go just for now.

Breathe in and out and now just take a couple minutes to yourself,

No thought provoking theme or quote to reflect on,

Just yourself,

Your heart,

Your breath.

Notice how you are feeling now,

How you feel within your nervous system,

Just removing external as well as internal distractions,

Spending just a couple of minutes out of your day to turn inward,

To be with yourself.

Even in the midst of a busy and chaotic day or week,

The time that you spend with yourself is a priority,

Even if it just lasts a few minutes.

Find another deep breath in and let it go,

One more in and out.

Whenever you are ready,

You can slowly bring some movement back into your body or blink your eyes open if they were closed or maybe you choose to sit for a little longer.

Take whatever it is that you need,

Sending endless love and divine light.
