So today's meditation is a meditation for self-love,

Increasing self-esteem and self-confidence.

And so this meditation addresses our third chakra,

Which is at our solar plexus.

And it also addresses our fourth chakra,

Which is at our heart space,

Our rib cage,

Our chest.

So as you are ready,

Start to make your way into a comfortable seated position,

Maybe on a chair,

Maybe on a cushion,

And feel your spine erect,

Straight,

At ease,

In a position that allows you to be comfortable,

Yet keeps you from becoming drowsy.

Take a few moments to feel the sense of your bones and muscles releasing with gravity into the chair beneath you,

Into the cushion.

Feel your bones and muscles dropping out of the shoulders,

Elbows,

Wrists dropping out of the shoulders,

Lower jaw releasing.

Notice any sensation that might come up of tension in the body,

Maybe pain in the low back or pinching.

And as you bring your awareness to parts of the body that are vying for your attention,

Just bring a non-judgmental awareness,

Being inquisitive about the sensation.

Being inquisitive about the sensations.

We'll take three full breaths together.

Taking a full inhalation,

Filling the crevices of the chest,

And then a full,

Relaxed exhalation,

Letting the breath completely run its course.

Find another inhalation,

Filling all the way up into the collarbones,

And then a full,

Relaxed exhalation,

Relaxing all the way to the end.

Take another final inhalation,

Breathing even into the back body,

Near the scapula,

The shoulder blades,

And then a full,

Complete exhalation,

Releasing the breath completely.

And then allowing my words to be your words.

I am exhaling,

I am at peace with myself.

I appreciate the person I have grown into.

I deserve to be at peace.

I deserve to be happy.

I embrace my feelings,

My emotions.

My future is bright and positive.

I look forward to the future,

And I enjoy the present moment.

I look fondly on many memories from my past.

I view my shortcomings as strengths,

Not yet developed,

Rather than weaknesses,

And I eagerly develop new strengths.

I imagine that all these affirmations are true for me,

And even when they feel untrue,

I desire them to be true.

I approach challenges with strengths.

I desire to approach my challenges with strength.

I always do the best that I can with what I've been given and the time that I have.

I do not need to be perfect to be okay as a human being.

I embrace my feelings,

I embrace my imperfections.

I accept myself wholly and completely.

I care for myself wholly and completely.

I take time for myself and I enjoy it.

I deserve this time that I take for myself,

And I feel good about taking this time regularly.

I handle difficulties with grace,

Challenges and obstacles with grace.

I allow myself to experience and express my emotions.

I am perfect just the way I am.

I accept myself,

I value myself,

I feel confident.

And if you would like,

Place your right hand on your chest,

On your sternum.

Take a few moments feeling,

Maybe feeling the sensation of your heartbeat.

You might feel the sensation of your breath moving your chest.

You might feel the sensation of your breath moving your chest.

You might feel the sensation of your breath moving your chest.

Just for a few moments,

Pause and witness yourself,

Witness your emotions,

Witness sensations that are appearing in your mind,

In your body.

In this moment,

Witness your emotions,

Witness sensations that are appearing in your body.

In this moment,

Witness sensations that are appearing in your body.

In this moment,

Witness sensations that are appearing in your body.

And affirm to yourself that I desire to love myself,

Wholly completely.

Using your first name,

I'll use the name Jane,

You can use your first name.

I love you Jane.

I desire to love you Jane.

I'm bringing both palms to touch in front of the heart.

Let's take in a moment,

Maybe you too set an intention.

It might be an action intention.

So an intention could be an intention of recommitting to yourself,

To being alone with yourself,

To getting to know yourself.

An intention might be just as simple as reaffirming your love for yourself,

Or that you value yourself,

Or that you accept your imperfections.

And then bowing together,

Namaste.

Self compassion and understanding; but looking inside as a calm stare. Allowing grace for oneself, and our own imperfections.

I like how there was time in the beginning to prepare my body for the meditation, and the touching of my heart on my chest towards the end for intention. I commit and reaffirm to love myself completely accepting my imperfections. Thank you.🙏💝

This is such a lovely meditation, thank you. My one suggestion is that you slow down the affirmations substantially to allow the listener to take them in. Namaste. ❤️
