Welcome to this body appreciation affirmation practice.

In this body appreciation affirmation practice,

You will say kind,

Loving words of appreciation to your body.

You may listen to these affirmations anytime,

Anywhere,

So you can do these while walking,

Driving,

Sitting,

Or wherever you can.

It may be helpful to place your hands in your heart space area,

Right in the center of your chest.

If it feels strange or uncomfortable to say these words about your body,

Keep practicing.

One of my life mantras is,

It's all just practice.

So,

Let's practice.

Ready?

I appreciate my body.

I appreciate my eyes,

My sight,

And my vision.

I appreciate the smells that remind me I can smell.

I appreciate hearing the sounds of life all around me.

I appreciate the foods that I savor as I eat.

I appreciate the feel of my skin as I lovingly caress my body.

I appreciate the feelings and sensations in my body.

I am healthy and love my body.

I am willing to accept my body at all stages of my life.

The cells in my body heal naturally.

I allow myself to be in a space of spontaneous healing.

I notice and feel the fullness of life through my body is the source of such pleasure and joy.

I give thanks for this lovely body that is firm,

Fit,

Strong,

And transportation.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and release with a loud sigh.

Take another deep breath in and a moment to return to this present moment.

Were you surprised at how you felt after saying these kind,

Loving words out loud?

If any of these affirmations felt challenging,

Remember to be kind and gentle with yourself.

Accept how you feel about it.

This really does help with progress.

You can always insert I am willing to if that feels better for you.

Example,

I am willing to appreciate my body.
