Good evening and welcome to this full moon meditation,
Full moon in the fiery sign of Leo.
So as per usual,
Get comfortable,
But I'd ask just for the first five minutes or so if you could be seated,
That would be amazing.
If you prefer to be laying down,
That is absolutely fine too.
And we're going to go through a little bit of a more powerful breath style.
So if you have any health things going on,
Or if you're pregnant,
Just focus on even inhales and exhales while we go through the practice,
It won't be for too long.
So sit nice and tall in your seat.
Feel yourself grounded through your right sit bone and your left sit bone.
And then from that stable base,
Lots of length traveling up through the spine,
Arriving in this time and space for your meditation.
This time to connect to yourself.
Really work with the lunar energies that are current at the moment.
So feel your beautiful spine upright and now encouraging a softening through the shoulders.
Feel them relax down the back.
Feel all the muscles on your face soften,
Especially focus on relaxing the back teeth.
Notice your natural breath.
Tummy expanding on the breath in and softening on the breath out.
Relaxing into any other areas of holding.
Stay with your breath as I explain the breathing pattern.
We're going to go through three rounds.
First round,
11 cycles followed by 22 and the final round will be 33.
We'll be inhaling and exhaling out of the mouth.
The focus is on filling up the belly and then completely letting the breath go.
So it's quite sharp and powerful.
I'll do a couple just so you can hear how it sounds.
When you're ready,
We're going to go through 11.
As I said earlier,
If you've got any health things going on,
If you're feeling a bit light headed,
Pregnant,
Just focus on deep,
Even breaths in and out of the nose.
So when you're ready,
Let's go through 11.
Focus on the belly.
Seven more.
Last two.
Last one.
Complete breath out.
And just pause.
Notice that maybe you start to feel some warmth,
Some tingling beneath the skin.
Whenever your body calls for you to return to a natural breath,
Go for it.
Coming into the second round,
So we'll go through 22.
Focus is on the low belly,
So really focus on filling up the low belly and then completely releasing with the exhale.
When you're ready,
22.
Complete breath out.
Let it all go.
Hold the breath out.
Notice what you feel.
Trust what your body is doing.
You are safe.
Enjoy the tingling,
The heat,
The movement beneath the skin.
Just noticing,
Noticing areas where you're feeling lots of sensation and any that are more subtle.
And then find your natural breath.
Soften into any areas of holding.
When you're ready,
We're going to go through our final round of 33.
So again,
Just focus on filling up the belly,
Completely releasing with the exhale.
Just stick with me and I'll do the counting.
You just focus on breath by breath,
Each moment,
Each breath.
Let's begin.
Complete breath out.
Let it all go.
And just observe.
Return to a natural breath whenever your body asks for it,
But you might notice that you can hold the breath out for some time,
So full of that fresh,
Oxygenated,
Rich blood.
If you would like to lay down,
Feel free to move to a comfortable laying down position now.
Enjoying all the sensations alive within.
Complete trust your body knows exactly what it's doing.
As you find your natural breath,
I'd like you to guide your awareness to your heart space.
A few breaths like you're breathing in and out of the heart,
Feeling your heart expand,
The back door of your heart expand.
And then soften with the exhale.
Keep your awareness with the heart space,
But I'd like you to imagine now that you're walking along a path out in nature.
The earth beneath your bare feet,
Gentle breeze greeting your skin,
And it's the perfect temperature.
You're coming to an opening on this path,
And in front of you symbolizes your heart,
Your divine heart.
So this is an opening for you to enter.
But what can you see from the outside?
What does your heart look like?
I'd like you to walk closer to your heart.
Place your hand on the doorknob,
Feel the warmth radiating from your precious heart.
Open the door and step inside.
So take in your beautiful heart space.
If it's feeling cold,
Can you light the fire?
If there's any dust,
Can you do a quick dusting?
Open the window,
Clear it out,
Bring in some light.
You see the most comfy seat.
Take a seat.
Rest your legs.
There's a side table beside this most comfortable seat,
And on this side table,
You see a beautiful obsidian crystal,
Deep black,
Deep in nature.
You pick up the crystal and place it in your lap.
You feel the vibration of this crystal.
You feel it moving through your body,
Matching that of the vibration alive from the breath.
It's almost like it's radiating from your body out into your beautiful heart space,
This temple,
This opening that you found yourself in.
And this beautiful crystal is going to show the way forward.
True self-reflection.
In your deepest knowing,
In your heart of hearts,
In what direction are you yearning to go?
Stay with your breath.
Stay comfortable in this cozy chair,
In your beautiful heart space,
Warm,
Airy light.
What are you being shown?
What is this crystal helping you to see?
Your body relaxed,
Your breath flowing.
What is this crystal helping you to see?
And from your heart of hearts,
With the aid of this obsidian,
True self-reflection,
Can you formulate an intention?
I am or I feel.
Say it like it's your truth already.
The light of the full moon shining its glory.
Is there anything that's not in alignment with your heart of hearts knowing?
And what a blessing to see it clearly,
Without judgment,
But from a place of gratitude.

I can see where I can adjust my journey.
I see where I can change my path,
My course,
Ever so slightly,
Perhaps,
Or quite drastically,
To get me to where I'm going,
To where my heart is leading me.
You take up that obsidian in your lap,
Take it to your lips,
Give it a kiss,
And place it down on the side table beside you.
And see yourself arising from that beautiful,
Most comfortable chair,
You give yourself a big stretch,
There's a lightness in your body,
That lightness that comes with knowing where you're going,
Knowing what is being shed.
You look around your beautiful heart space in awe,
In everything that has led you to this moment here and now.
Hands greet at heart center,
A bow of gratitude to this vessel,
To yourself.
You make your way out of your heart,
And once you're outside,
Turn and look back again,
Just blown away by the magnificence.
Returning on the path that led you there,
Earth beneath your feet,
So held by nature.
Return to your space,
Feeling the support beneath you holding you,
Noticing all the sounds you can hear both near and far,
Your gentle breath,
You might like to do some journaling,
Or write down the intention and that which you are changing,
That which you are letting go of.
