Hello,

And welcome to my meditation and shamanic journey.

We are going to be doing the children's fire in this meditation.

If you haven't been on one of my guided journeys before,

It's just like a guided meditation where we'll go in,

Get deeper and deeper,

And we'll be doing some healing just on your child self.

And that'll look different for different people,

So I'm not going to give you an exact expectation as to what you'll experience,

But rather to just come with an open mind like a child and let it be unique to you.

Okay,

This will probably take about 30 minutes,

So just make sure you have enough time to go fully through the journey and then fully back out.

You don't want to cut it off in the middle.

So otherwise,

Just go ahead and find a nice,

Quiet,

Comfortable place to sit.

If you prefer lying down,

You can.

You just want to make sure you're not going to fall asleep.

But even if you do fall asleep,

That's okay.

Your subconscious mind will continue the journey for you.

I like to do these just sitting upright in a chair in meditation.

And so you can start by just giving yourself a couple deep,

Deep breaths,

Letting yourself arrive to your body,

Letting your body be a safe place to arrive.

Sometimes we perceive this body as sort of where our problems are arising or where we're having to deal with them from.

But in this meditation,

We're going to do healing from a spiritual place,

Not from a physical place.

And so this body can be safe.

It can be our friend.

You can care for it.

And it can even loosen up and just gently settle in,

Knowing that we're not going to push on it,

We're not going to pry,

But rather we're going to bring forth some healing that may feel quite soothing to the body.

So if you aren't already,

You can close your eyes and you can start to feel into your center.

If you can come home to yourself,

Go deeper within and breathe into that space too.

And you may start to think of just what's been going on in your life.

As you meditate in our still,

You may get some thoughts or feelings.

Maybe it's a cycle that you've been in time and time before.

That's happening right now.

There's a pattern.

Maybe it's just surface level stuff that's passing by.

You can watch it,

Take note of it.

And as you breathe and go inward,

I'm going to start a countdown from 10.

And as I count down from 10,

I want you to just journey within,

Finding a special place in nature within you,

As if you can walk down a stairwell.

When you get to the bottom and open the door,

It opens up into a beautiful scenery.

We will start with 10,

Going a little bit deeper down the stairwell,

Deeper within yourself.

Nine.

Another step or two down that stairwell.

Starting to feel yourself shift from engaging with the world around you,

Engaging with your to-do list,

Moving deeper within where that stuff doesn't have as much of a grip on your attention.

Eight.

Going deeper within,

Knowing that the intelligence and wisdom of your body can start to turn down the body mechanisms that would be noisy.

If there's sensations that are distracting you,

Let that wise part of your body just turn that down.

Turn down the feedback.

Letting that body go into a softer and softer state.

Seven.

Still breathing as you make this journey inward.

Letting go of any frustrations,

Doubts,

Anything that would say you have to hurry or just get to it.

Six.

Five.

Getting closer to that inner destination.

Four.

Knowing that once you get there,

It'll be a special realm within you.

One in which deep healing can happen,

As well as deep reflectiveness.

Three.

Anything that shows up in this space can be a representation of what's going on within you.

It can be symbolic,

Too.

And now you reach the bottom of the stairs and open the doorway,

Opening up to that special place in nature.

One.

Go ahead and pass through that doorway.

Just take a moment or two to walk out into that open space and take a look around.

As you're taking a look around that sacred space,

Would you find a special place to start to build the children's fire?

And I'll walk you through what that looks like.

Just find a nice flat spot.

And start to gather 12 stones from somewhere throughout this inner scenery.

And when you have those 12 stones,

Would you place one in each of the four cardinal directions,

Starting with the east,

Then the south,

The west,

And the north.

Just knowing where those cardinal directions are based off of your own internal guidance.

And then continue placing those stones with the four non-cardinal directions,

Or that space that's in between them.

Letting there be enough space for this to be a fairly good-sized fire.

And then place the remaining four stones in the center,

Right where the fire will be.

And with your imagination,

Would you build the children's fire right there in the center?

You can see the sticks there burning.

And just notice,

How is your fire burning?

What does that flame look like?

Is it really hot blue flames?

Is it red and yellow?

Is it a big fire,

A small fire?

Notice what that looks like.

Realizing that this is analogous to your life energy at this time.

How that fire is burning in this inner space is similar to how that inner fire is burning,

That life force.

And as you stare at it,

You look at that fire,

Would you ask yourself,

What is it that really stokes your fire,

That fans the flame?

And try not to just go to what you assume it should be.

Something that you pay for,

Put energy into,

That you're supposed to like.

What really shows up?

What really stokes that fire?

You might see that as an image.

You might see that as an object,

Symbol in there.

Just see what helps to increase that flame.

Knowing that that passion or that enthusiasm is a vital energy to your health and well-being.

Sometimes we're taught,

Even from an early age,

But usually a little bit later in life,

That we need to focus on work,

On our to-do lists,

And less on our passions and things that make us happy.

And some people have those intersect,

Where they get to live their passion.

And some people find enthusiasm in the little things.

See what it is for you.

Not what brings you more comfort or security,

But what really fans the fire within,

Really brings you to life.

And then go ahead and invite your child self to join you in this circle around your fire.

Let them join you at the children's fire.

And just say hello to your child self.

See how you're doing.

And see what age,

What version of that child self wants to show up.

What version of that child is needing some attention today.

Some awareness.

And you can say hello to your child self,

Receive a hello back.

And if there's anything that your child self has been holding on to,

Whether it was a pain,

Some sort of belief,

Something that your child self is holding on to,

Maybe out of fear,

But it's something that is no longer serving you anymore.

Something that you've held on to for far too long.

Maybe that you shouldn't have held on to in the first place as that young kid,

But you didn't know any better.

It's the only thing you knew to do with the information you had.

Allow that child self to release this into the fire.

Whatever that is,

That belief,

That memory.

Not in an attempt to bypass it,

It's valuable life experience,

But just in a sense of it's no longer something you have to carry,

Have to hold on to.

You can relinquish that pain or self-doubt or whatever it is into the fire.

And you might notice if that changes the fire.

Is that aspect gone from your child self?

Does that flame naturally get brighter?

Does it get more steady,

More secure?

And then ask,

Is there anything that your child self needs from you at this time?

Does it need some affection?

Does it need a message from where you are in your life today?

Letting it know that it all works out,

That you survive.

That in the end it's okay.

Maybe it's a happy memory that you want to share with this child self.

Or maybe you just notice it as an energy,

A quality of love,

Of patience,

Endurance,

Whatever.

Gift that to your child self in whatever way you see fit.

Give that child self an energy,

An image,

Maybe just some communication,

Doesn't matter.

And see how that affects the flame.

And then go ahead and invite your adult self into this fire circle.

And do the same process.

Ask that adult self if there's anything that it needs to let go of.

Anything that it's still holding on to.

It could be the same thing that the child self was holding on to,

But a really convoluted version of it.

A version where you've had a bunch of life experience between then and now.

That really just made you believe that false belief you were holding on to.

It sort of proved to you that the lie was true,

But it isn't.

That's just invalidation or fear or stress,

Whatever it is for you.

It's not who you are,

And it's not something you have to continue to hold on to.

So let that adult self release it into the fire as well.

Let yourself be free.

And then ask the adult self if there's anything that it needs.

Does it need some energy from the child self?

Some enthusiasm?

Some carefreeness?

Does it need some validation to look how far you've come?

Or does it just need permission to be there?

To be connected to your child self?

To be connected to you?

Let that be a source of warmth and wisdom.

Let that be a source of comfort.

Let that be a source of healing.

Let that be a source of comfort.

Let that be a source of healing.

Let that be a source of warmth and wise counsel to you.

And invite them into this fire circle as well.

And just allow that person to be that source of warmth and wise counsel.

If there's any messages they have for you,

Your child self,

Your adult self,

You can receive that wisdom.

Or you can just receive that warmth.

Maybe there's something this person would like to offer to the fire.

Just take a couple breaths into that space.

And this children's fire can be especially helpful as a place to bring rescued or reclaimed parts of self,

Past life selves,

Parts of you that maybe aren't excited to join you in your daily life,

But that want to integrate gradually.

You can invite this to happen.

If there's any part of you that you're reclaiming through this journey,

That you're calling back,

Let that join you here in this fire too.

Anything that's ready to come back to you,

Allowing you to live more freely,

Peacefully,

Joyously,

In the present moment in your life as it is today.

Maybe it's an aspect of self that just wants to integrate to help carry you forward in life.

And now that that has integrated,

Become a part of you,

I want you to check in one last time to see how is your fire burning now?

And what else do you need to stoke that fire,

To fan the flames,

To get it to burn even more brightly?

What's one thing you can take away from this journey that you can use to fan the flames now,

But also in your life?

It could be a hobby,

Could be a practice,

Could be an energy,

A quality,

Could be connection.

See what it is for you and let that frequency be there.

And then I'm going to count back up from one to 10.

And as I do so,

You can start to make your way out of the fire circle,

Letting it burn brightly.

It can stay.

It's safe there.

You can say goodbye to that child self,

One.

Say goodbye to that adult self,

Two.

You can make your way out of the circle,

Three.

Slowly start walking back towards the door,

Four.

Feeling a new quality,

A new presence to yourself,

Five.

Knowing that healing can be that simple,

It can be that easy,

Is bringing awareness to the deeper part of you,

Six.

It doesn't have to be difficult.

You don't have to jump through a million hoops or read a thousand books.

You can just bring your presence to a place within that always has the answers,

Always has what you need for healing,

Seven.

Making your way to the door,

Eight.

Opening the door and starting to walk back up the stairwell,

Nine.

Making your way back up in consciousness,

Back up to the surface where you can reconnect and reintegrate this with the rest of your life,

Nine.

Coming all the way out,

10.

Back to that center place within you that we started this meditation,

Back to full awareness,

Where your body can start to wake back up,

Turn back on.

And where you can emerge from this journey with a newfound sense of self,

Healing,

Understanding,

Or anything else that you may have experienced.

And at your own pace,

You can come on out of this meditation.
