Today on Awakened Life,
We're talking about COVID-19 and your divine protection.
And welcome to this audio on being,
Feeling,
Knowing you are divinely protected.
You hear many different things in the news about various crisis situations,
Craziness happening,
Chaos.
But what we're going to share with you are things that you're probably never going to hear on any mainstream media or any of these different channels that are freaking everyone out.
But this is actually the most important thing and the most useful thing that you can use immediately in your life to really experience that freedom,
That peace.
And come out a transformed person,
Transformed being as a result of these crazy times.
So pay close attention to what we're about to share with you.
There are three aspects we're going to share with you for you to be able to fully embody the awareness,
I am divinely protected.
Not just as a nice idea or a fleeting thought,
But embodying the experience,
I am divinely protected with certainty and complete faith.
And whether you're listening to this in the time where there's the coronavirus outbreak or whether you're listening to this later on in our world with some other crisis that these crises are bound to happen.
Whether illness,
Natural calamity,
We have nuclear weapons,
Right?
I mean,
There are so many ways that catastrophe can happen.
So we need to ground in and embody our higher truest protection that is beyond the limited protection of stocking up on food or toilet paper or shelter.
And of course,
These things are important.
And I think that they will come from a state of consciousness that is higher.
But if we cling to those things without embodying our true spiritual consciousness,
Then the result won't be very good because we're not coming from the right place.
That's right.
There's a wonderful expression that the less you need,
The more free you are.
And the more you need,
The less free you are,
The more trapped you are.
Because if our happiness and our well-being and our life depends on many,
Many,
Many,
Many,
Many layers of complicated expectations and needs and everything has to be just set up,
Just right,
Perfect,
Perfect,
Perfect.
We are walking on eggshells.
We are walking on thin ice.
We are going to fall and crack and things are going to get taken out of us.
There's an expression that the rug is pulled from under you.
Then the room,
The floor is pulled from under the rug.
And then the floor is pulled and what is left over is nothing.
The earth is pulled out.
So we're going to be in a situation where everything is pulled from underneath us.
And the less we need to feel at peace,
The more liberated we'll be.
And as time goes on,
That is what's going to be the most valuable thing we have is our capacity to feel and experience freedom and peace.
Exactly.
There's the saying reduce your desires and your problems will reduce,
They'll disappear.
The less we need,
The less desires we have,
The less external facilities and items and so forth that we need,
The better.
And the irony is the more we're in a higher state of consciousness of love,
Of peace,
Of power,
Purity,
Bliss,
Those things follow in whatever way we truly need.
They will be there anyway.
So we have to come to it from that place of not needing anything,
Of being in a higher state of consciousness.
So the first point we must come back to is who am I?
Who am I?
Am I this body?
Am I this personality?
Am I this person?
Really ask yourself that.
Tune into it.
Just the other day we were talking,
If a part of our body is injured or a tooth is pulled or something like this.
That's obviously not what we are.
Because for example with a tooth,
That tooth is removed,
We thought it was part of us,
But it's now outside of us.
It's part of this physical organism.
Yeah,
I just had a wisdom tooth pulled two days ago and I got asked to keep it so I could see it.
And it's so obvious that this is separate from the self,
And someone might lose their arm,
Which is much more of a problem.
But they become aware that they are not their arm,
We are not your teeth.
We are not our body.
We have this body,
We can move it around,
It's like a puppet.
But we are not our body.
If you've seen a corpse,
If you've seen a grandparent die or someone die and you've seen the corpse,
It's very obvious that who they are has left.
And what is left is this dead thing,
Which was not who we are.
The body is still there,
But the spirit is gone.
And it's not that we are a body that has a spirit somewhere.
But we are the spirit and we have entered the body.
And here we are.
It's like getting into a car.
You can get back out of the car again.
It doesn't mean you are the car.
This consciousness needs to become extremely deep and real for us,
The consciousness that I am the immortal light,
Shining light.
And I am not this physical thing.
And we call this consciousness soul consciousness.
I the soul.
You the soul are listening right now through your ears.
You use the vehicle of your body to experience.
You look out through your eyes.
You listen through your ears.
You taste through your mouth.
You feel things with your hands.
You experience through your vehicle.
But you are the consciousness experiencing.
You feel the spirit,
The consciousness,
The light.
And you can never die.
You were never born and you can never die.
Let's just take a moment to tune into that.
What would you feel to you if you really deeply believed that I can never die and I am safe?
You'll notice how this immediately disarms all of that fear and panic and ego and all the different forms of negativity.
When we hold the consciousness of who we are,
I am the immortal soul.
I am the consciousness that affects matter,
That affects the material world.
When we hold that consciousness,
We're no longer slaves to this world.
We're no longer at the mercy of physical conditions,
Including the life of our own body.
And we're finally free.
I mean,
What have we been searching for this whole time anyway?
When we really ask ourselves why we want this thing,
Why we want that thing,
And we keep asking,
Well,
Why,
Why,
Why,
Why,
Why?
We want to feel free.
We want to feel safe.
We want to feel loved.
That's right.
A lot of running around the core of it is to feel the experience of who we are.
When you really are honest and say,
Why am I making this money?
Why am I trying to get this?
Why am I trying to buy this?
Why am I trying to hoard this?
Why am I trying to get all these things?
I get that so I feel this.
I get that so I feel this.
And you keep going,
Why,
Why,
Why,
Why,
Why?
You realise that it's always a state of being.
Why do people want to go on vacation?
They feel something.
So we are very,
Very wise to find out what it is we really want and how can we get that within ourselves?
I'll just give a little story about when I started doing meditation many years ago,
I was,
Before that,
I was working in a kitchen.
And the reason I was working in a kitchen doing washing dishes when I was a teenager is because I felt disturbed and I wanted money so that I could buy drugs and alcohol and cigarettes so that I could feel slightly better.
Right?
And because I felt bad I had to go to work to buy the money,
To get the money so that I could buy the drugs which made me feel bad ultimately so then I had to go back to work,
Work in a stinky kitchen,
Scrub all these pots and pans for hours and hours and hours on minimum wage so that I could get rid of the pain of having to do that situation by buying more drugs which,
And I would go home at night after night scrubbing dishes and smoke cannabis and basically spend my wages in the evening to compensate for feeling bad.
And when I started,
It's like a ridiculous cycle running around trying to get these things.
And then when I started doing meditation I started feeling much,
Much,
Much better,
Much more peaceful and blissful and liberated without any drugs.
And I didn't need to go to work either because there's no point buying all that stuff so I realised that I could just get the experience that I wanted without all the steps in between.
And so this is what we need to learn how to do is how can we get the experience without being dependent and needing all these external situations.
And as time goes on we won't be able to have all these things that we currently rely on so we're going to have to figure it out.
And would you rather figure this out now and come to that feeling and that state of peace in yourself and be able to rely on that?
Or would you rather just carry on trying to get all these different things and then they run out and you can't get them and there's no other option and you just suffer?
So this is actually an extremely merciful loving thing for us to do for ourselves.
So the more you feel that,
The more you've liberated yourself.
I would say this is the biggest gift,
The biggest gift you could possibly give yourself.
And as a result of that you're actually more likely to be in a situation where things work out for you physically because as you are feeling you attract that.
So if someone's feeling needy and wanty and craving they're more likely to attract the situation of lack.
If you feel you've already attained everything then you're more likely to end up in a situation where things work out for you.
So ironically not needing things is going to bring them to you while needing them is going to push them away.
Exactly.
And I'm sure you've heard this sort of concept before.
It's in different spiritual books and ideas.
But I'm not sure if you've heard it before in the context of really seriously understanding,
Feeling who you are and that the power to be able to embody that,
To be able to experience perhaps what you've heard in different spiritual teachings that you know you attract what your inner state is.
You need the power to be able to hold a state of being where that's a reality.
And so we get that power.
First of all,
This first step,
Who am I?
Who am I really?
And second brings us into our next aspect.
Who do I belong to?
Who do I belong to?
Deep within the soul is a deep feeling of being loved by God,
By higher power.
And deep within the soul is also the ability to be so loving to all of life.
I think when we want to feel loved,
We're remembering that feeling of being in such a state of love ourselves and being so perfectly loved by the divine,
Completely loved,
Entirely unconditional love.
And we belong to that one,
To God,
The divine,
Higher power,
The power station,
The source.
And this word God sometimes puts some people off.
I remember growing up in an environment where that was a little bit on the religious side.
And it didn't mean anything to me at that time.
I didn't relate to it.
But when I started doing meditation and started really going deep for myself,
I started to experience a extremely blissful,
Loving presence that was obviously something separate from me,
Separate from my perception and my creation of my mind or anything.
There's a power,
A vibration that over the last 20 something years has charged the battery of my soul.
So I can now remember that being,
That light,
And I can feel the energy flowing into me and providing beautiful vibrations and peace.
And it's always available,
Just like the sun always shines.
God is a spiritual light that is always shining.
And if we are living in the dark cave of the ego,
Living from lower consciousness,
Living from a place of ignorance,
Then we're out of the sunlight,
So we can't experience it.
So when we become aware that I am a light,
I am soul,
I am spirit,
I am consciousness,
That brings us out of that dark cave,
That cage,
That limited perspective,
Into the light.
And once we're in the light,
Then we can start to experience that vibration shining down,
Glowing down,
Radiating down into our soul.
So beautiful.
And the example Michael just gave is wonderful.
We were recently listening to a video from Joseph Campbell,
And he was giving the example of the archetype of the dragon in Western culture.
And the dragon symbolizes our ego,
And it traps us in this dark cage,
In this dark place,
And constricts us,
And eats us,
In a sense.
It eats away at our true selves,
Our true conscience,
Our true light.
And when we slay that dragon,
We make the initial choice to come out of the cave.
We walk out,
And then there's this glorious sunlight.
And spiritually,
That's God,
That's the divine.
Not literally,
But figuratively,
The spiritual sun.
And then we take in the enormous power,
Like we're sunbathing,
And we absorb those vibrations into ourselves.
And then we're given the power to fully conquer and kill,
I'd say,
Conquer,
Destroy,
That dragon that's trapping us,
That's keeping us stuck,
That's keeping us needy,
That's keeping us in a state of fear.
That's right.
And the dragon is also protecting the special secrets and the blessings.
So it's stopping us getting out,
And it also is like sitting on the gold.
So there's a huge amount of gold within us.
There's so much joy within us,
So much bliss within us,
So much within us,
And we're being blocked from it by all this endless ego games,
And craving things,
Running around after things,
And getting distracted,
And checking the news a million times,
Doing this,
And running after that,
And worrying about this.
All these games of the mind are actually blocking and suppressing our happiness.
And we need to take personal responsibility to deal with that.
No one can do it for us.
That's one of the things about life is that life hands us certain situations and crazy challenges,
And we get dealt a certain set of cards,
Right?
And we can complain about it,
We can moan about it,
Bitch about it,
We can do whatever we want about it,
Right?
But at the end of the day,
We need to take responsibility to make those changes so that we can become free.
There's so much power within us.
There's so much power within us,
And this dragon is draining our energy.
It's literally like the dragon has poked a hole,
And it's all draining out,
And we've become so drained,
So drained.
And as Michael was sharing as well,
We must recognize what's happening to us.
The interesting thing is this dragon isn't typically obvious.
If it was obvious,
We all would have figured it out and got out of the situation,
Or most of us would have.
It's very deceptive and very hard to see.
And this dragon is disguised as very nice-looking things and things that we justify and we think are fine.
Yet slowly but surely,
We're being drained of all our energy,
But we don't notice because it's not always that obvious.
Deceptive,
Extremely deceptive.
So we have to realize what we're dealing with here,
And instead of being deceived,
We need to become clever,
Because otherwise our precious time is going to be wasted.
Exactly.
So we need to remember who we are and take power from the One.
And just take a moment now.
Feel as though the physical sunlight is on your face and you know that feeling where effortlessly your body just absorbs the sunlight,
And it feels so calming and sweet.
Tune your mind to the invisible,
Spiritual,
Powerful source,
An ocean of love,
An endless stream of peace pouring into your heart and mind.
Just take a moment to allow yourself to be filled.
Let God's rays of peace,
Power,
Love,
Purity,
Bliss,
Are filling you completely.
And all in any stress or tension and worry and fear and doubt and anger and greed and so forth,
Feel those draining out.
They don't belong to you,
They belong to the dragon,
So to speak.
They're just sunbeams in the silence of yourself,
The soul,
The being of light.
And this is our nourishment.
This is our nourishment.
This is our safety,
Our divine protection.
And we already even started talking about the third aspect of,
Even with all of the chaos going on in the world,
Upheaval,
What is it anyway that's being destroyed?
Certainly not you,
The soul,
Certainly not the divine.
Right,
What is being destroyed?
And just before we get into that,
Just to mention that this connection with the divine is a spiritual recharge.
Fundamentally,
What we are needing more than anything else is power,
Spiritual power,
Spiritual energy.
The more spiritually charged we are,
The more we can deal with things.
You can imagine someone who has a strong immune system physically can deal with viruses and challenges pretty easily because they can tough it up.
They can break it out,
They can overcome challenge.
We need to be spiritually charged so that when we come across challenges in our lives,
We feel energy and power on a spiritual level so that we don't get disturbed.
The more powerful we are spiritually,
The less suffering we have.
And the weaker we are spiritually,
The more suffering we have.
So the more we have this practice,
The more spiritual power we have.
And that's ultimately the most important thing.
Exactly.
And these things may seem like a nice idea at this point,
Depending on where you're at in your journey,
But as time goes on you realise this is a real thing that you actually own.
Everything else can be taken away.
We can lose all our money,
We can lose our job,
We can lose our relationships,
We can even lose our body.
But the spiritual energy is something we actually permanently own.
And when you realise that,
It becomes very obvious,
When you really get that,
That spiritual energy is the main thing that we need to experience.
And that's what we're going to be most grateful for in times of need.
Exactly.
And that spiritual energy,
As I was sharing,
Is not being destroyed.
You can destroy it,
You have it forever and forever.
So who you are,
Your spiritual connection,
Your spiritual charge,
That's not being destroyed.
And so when we look at what's being destroyed in the world,
It's our body consciousness,
It's our ego consciousness,
It's our greed,
It's our anger,
Our lust,
Our attachment,
Our fear.
Because what's real,
I think the famous quote of A Course in Miracles,
What's real cannot be threatened,
Can't be threatened.
So when we see things falling apart in various ways,
Ask yourself,
What is it actually that's being destroyed?
And if you look at the world with a discerning eye,
It becomes very apparent that there is a lot of dark things going on.
There are a lot of horrible,
Horrible activities,
There's a lot of the things that people spend money on,
You know.
How much of the economic exchange is actually harmful to people buying products or buying services that are actually damaging their well-being rather than strengthening them.
So we've built an economy which to a large degree,
Not entirely,
Of course there's a lot of benefit to a strong economy,
But many,
Many things have been very toxic and draining.
So on the one hand people are going to lose money,
We're all going to go through a challenging situation with this in one way or the other,
Physically speaking.
But if it destroys a lot of dark things,
Is that a good thing or is that a bad thing,
Ultimately?
And if it brings us closer to the realization of who we are,
Because we're prompted to look for something deeper,
If it supports us in strengthening our spiritual connection and taking it seriously,
Prioritizing it.
Right?
And if it enables us to grow and express our divine qualities of humility,
Patience,
Tolerance,
Love.
Then we can understand from a spiritual perspective the huge gift.
The huge gift.
It's a huge,
Huge,
Huge blessing in disguise.
Huge blessing in disguise.
Right now we're recording this,
I think it's the 20th of March.
So it's a very interesting situation if you listen to this in the future,
Because a week ago.
2020 by the way.
A week ago,
This coronavirus situation was just news on the side kind of thing,
Maybe it will affect other people.
I've been getting messages from people stuck in their house or not being able to buy food and been told that there's literally round the block lines,
Or that maybe not anymore because they can't go out.
But there was round the block lines to buy guns,
Which I thought was very telling.
So there's a lot of crazy stuff going on and it's going to continue.
I mean I'm sure it's going to improve and then it will get worse again.
But these are interesting times,
Very interesting times that we're living in.
And one of the things that I've been aware of for a long time is just before all this crazy stuff happened.
Let's be honest,
How many people were really,
Really,
Really grateful.
Deeply grateful at all the opportunities and blessings and economic abundance and all these things.
How many people honestly woke up in the morning with joy in their heart saying I'm living my life purpose.
I'm so stoked about my life.
You know,
I'm fully on point.
I'm really,
Really grateful for the situation.
I'm grateful for all the things I can buy and all the things I can do.
How many people actually felt that?
I don't know the number,
But I don't seem,
Doesn't seem like it was very many.
A lot of people were complaining,
Not being grateful,
Not taking it as a blessing.
Massive amount taking things for granted.
Now a week later,
A whole bunch of stuff has been pulled out and there's chaos.
So one of the benefits of these sort of situations is that people actually have a bit more gratitude,
You know,
Because it's an unsustainable situation anyway.
And I think a lot of the time the ego,
The dragon,
Instead of taking blessings from life,
It just becomes entitled,
Ungrateful and runs around after various sorts of addictions.
And then it gets poor.
You could lose it all of a sudden,
Just like that.
It's amazing how fast this happened.
Snap of the fingers and flights are cancelled,
Chaos happens.
It's just absolutely incredible.
And this is a window into what is likely to continue happening in the future.
I've been aware of these sorts of things for 20 years and it's surprising to me how long it's taken for this to happen,
Actually.
So we need to take this as a bell.
There's a small bell and then there's going to be the big bell.
This is not the big bell,
It's a small bell.
It's ringing to wake us up.
And if we get the message,
Then we can really prepare ourselves properly and we'll be in a much better position for ourselves and for others.
And if we don't,
Then we'll have to deal with chaos without being prepared,
Which is going to be very unpleasant.
So this is,
I'm just saying this out of mercy and love,
That this is the greatest gift we can all give ourselves.
You can give yourself,
Is to get that spiritual power.
Yes,
In soul consciousness,
In spiritual consciousness,
You are safe.
You are safe.
I think it's when we're in ego,
Body,
Vice consciousness,
We perish or experience perishing.
In soul consciousness,
You are safe.
You are safe.
You are eternal.
You are expansive,
Beautiful soul consciousness,
Spiritual light.
And you belong to the most loving presence,
The most loving energy in all of existence.
And that belongs to you.
You belong to that one and that one belongs to you.
And the more we can bathe,
Bathe in this awareness,
The more we return to our true state of peace,
Of love.
And that's on a deeper level why I'd say all of this is happening,
Because the soul that you are and each of us,
We've lost touch,
We've forgotten,
We've been drained.
And life is benevolently calling us back in the ways that will be effective.
You know,
If we did it on our own when things are just,
You know,
Moving along and we can go online and buy this and do this and go here,
It isn't happening,
Right?
So life is benevolent and is doing whatever needs to be done to support us in going home,
Home to ourselves,
Home to the truth.
Such a blessing,
Such a huge blessing.
And either we learn the lessons or the lessons keep coming to us.
It's one of the secrets of the life of this universe is that the universe gives us signals.
They start off very subtle,
Just a slight awareness in our conscience that something isn't right.
And if we get it at that level,
Then we change,
Then we don't need anything beyond that.
If we ignore that little voice of the conscience,
Then it becomes a bit louder.
Maybe someone says something or something happens.
And if we ignore that,
Then it gets louder again and it gets louder again and it keeps getting notched up,
You know,
Ramped up to higher and higher levels.
And this is a pretty high level of trying to give us the message.
The universe is trying to rearrange things to be in alignment with nature,
Alignment with our true nature and as beings on this planet alignment with the world we live in.
We haven't been doing that as a society.
We've been destroying the environment.
We've been acting out of negativity.
We've been running after things we don't need.
We've been having negative thoughts.
You can write books and books and books on the evils of the human race.
And we don't need to look into all those books,
But what we do need to do is get the message and change.
And once we've really got the message,
Then we will create a new system,
A new way of being.
And this is the call of the time.
So this is the call for you to really get that message now.
Make those changes in your life and in yourself.
And that is your gift to yourself and your gift to the world.
And once you get the message,
You won't need to keep having all these crazy things.
And so to just bring this all together,
You are divinely protected.
And so to just embody that awareness,
Really ask yourself,
Be with yourself,
Who am I?
Who am I?
Strip back all of the limited layers of identity that you know that's not really who you are.
And who is that presence?
Who is that being?
Who is that consciousness that knows love,
That knows peace?
That pure,
Innocent being?
And align with and identify with that,
With who you are,
This all.
You belong to the One,
And it is your divine right to receive the unlimited rays of spiritual charge,
To renew yourself in a world where you've drained all of your energy.
So this is recharging.
Energy is invisible,
But it's real.
We know energy.
We talk,
Oh,
I don't feel like I have much energy or I have tons of energy,
Right?
And when I mean energy,
I mean full,
Spiritual,
Sustainable,
Powerful,
Peaceful.
The quality of energy that's true is peaceful.
I don't mean sometimes we might have bursts of other sorts of energy.
Lots and lots of coffee.
That's not what I mean.
I mean an energy that is sustainable,
That is powerful,
That energy.
It's such a blissful thing.
And so we can take the time.
I personally highly recommend that you give hours,
Hours of your time,
Literally as much as you can,
To sitting in meditation,
Remembering and feeling that you are that infinite,
Beautiful,
Joyful light,
That shining light.
You can imagine yourself,
See yourself as a tiny point of peace that is immortal,
Immortal,
Immortal peace.
And you're bathing in golden light and feeling filled up,
Recharged.
And one of the things that I like to do is just to breathe in that light and that power and then breathe out good vibrations throughout your whole body and out into the world.
So you're filling up with energy,
Giving thanks and then shining that vibration throughout your whole body,
Healing the body,
Sending good vibrations to your body,
Which is very useful to have,
And then sending that energy out all around you,
Creating an atmosphere.
And the more we do this,
The more we feel free and at peace.
And the more we're clear about this,
That's why we're sharing right now,
When we have the knowledge,
The awareness,
The understanding,
It gives us a whole new perspective.
We can understand and see what is it that's actually being destroyed and what is the gift in the situation.
And so we're going to be sharing more and more on this theme of spiritual recharge,
Because when it comes down to it,
That's all that really matters.
It's all that's left,
You know,
It's all that's going to be left.
What we have to remember is everything else can be destroyed and probably will be destroyed one way or the other.
But what we actually have is who we have become and that spiritual vibration.
It's not a theory,
It's not a nice idea,
It's a real thing.
And the more you feel that,
The more you become aware that's actually the truth.
Many,
Many people,
By the way,
Have had near-death experiences where they have literally left their body.
Let's say someone has a car crash and they temporarily leave their body.
They look down on the crash and they see their body in the distance and it's very obvious they are not their body.
And they go up and they experience this absolute bliss,
Absolute peace,
Absolute freedom away from everything.
And most of the time they don't want to come back.
They say,
Oh my god,
This is the best,
This is like the most beautiful thing I've ever experienced in my life.
But then they need to come back to continue their life on this big stage of the world.
And they come back and they are very aware from that point onwards that they are free,
That they are safe,
That they're not their body.
And we don't need to have a near-death experience.
We can experience the same thing through meditation and higher consciousness.
And when people do leave their body,
They get to see that what they have become is the only thing they have and everything else is finished.
So this is the call of the times to really come back to what is real when everything else is falling.
