This meditation is adapted from Brent Baum's holographic memory resolution technique.
If you're holding on to a traumatic experience,
Whether you remember it or not,
It can sometimes create an imprint in your energetic field.
This meditation uses visualization and color to help you resolve the emotional energy left behind by these imprints,
Bringing you back into harmony with your spirit.
Let's begin,
Taking a few slow,
Deep belly breaths to start,
Becoming aware of the feeling of expansion and contraction in your lungs,
Settling into this moment.
I'd like you to imagine a place where you feel the most safe and comfortable,
A place that feels healing and calming.
If a picture were to be taken of you in this place,
What's the main color you see there?
Take a deep breath in of that color,
Breathing it all the way into the body,
From head to toe.
Now I want you to think about your body and energy field.
When thinking about the trauma you experienced,
Not the event itself,
But the impact on your energy,
Do you feel it inside your body,
Outside your body,
Or maybe both?
Does it have a shape?
Does it have a color?
Does it have a texture,
Like hard or soft or lumpy or scratchy?
Does it have a temperature,
Like hot or cold?
Once you have all that imagery in your mind,
Can you find if there's an age you might have been when you first felt this?
Can you remember what might have been happening when you first felt this?
If you don't remember exactly what happened,
That's okay.
Let's focus on how to take that energy out of you now.
Take that color,
That shape,
Whatever it is you envisioned,
And put it far enough away from you that it doesn't bother you,
But you can still see it.
Do you see a person there?
Maybe multiple people.
Let them take whatever part of that energy is theirs.
You can throw it,
You can hand it off,
Whatever you feel is best for you.
Now put that person or those people in a white bubble.
If there's anything you need to say to them,
Say it now.
When you're ready,
You can send them off.
Imagine them floating away in that bubble,
While you go safely back to the space we envisioned at the beginning.
Breathe in that first color into the place where we just cleared energy from,
Filling it up.
Do you feel that there's any other color you're needing to be filled up with?
If so,
Breathe that in now,
Breathing in a sense of peace and wholeness along with it.
You can stay here as long as you need to,
Breathing in the colors you need,
Filling yourself up with peace.
