Take a few breaths to connect with your body.
Feel the expansiveness of your inhale,
And feel yourself sink deeper into your body on
your exhale,
And let yourself relax into this practice.
This meditation will be focusing on cutting cords.
This technique can release energetic and emotional ties to people,
Places,
Or events that have
hurt us or that aren't serving us.
Sometimes these are people that you still care about and you still have a relationship
with,
A person you don't see anymore,
Or someone like a boss or acquaintance that we
have to continue to see and experience in our lives.
If you're feeling ready to release these cords,
Just remember that you're not hurting
any other person energetically.
You're not cutting that person out of your life.
You're simply regaining control of your own power,
Freeing yourself of the effects of
someone else's energy pulling on you.
You're not losing anything,
And you will fill that void where fear and attachments
have been.
If this sounds like something you're ready and willing to do,
Get yourself ready in a
comfortable position.
Let yourself relax into this practice.
Remind yourself you're safe and protected.
You can envision a place that you feel completely safe and comfortable in,
Maybe on a beach
or relaxing in a hammock.
Whatever feels safe and nurturing to you.
Watch yourself laying there,
Fully relaxed,
A gentle smile on your face.
Now look at yourself as if you're watching a movie of you.
See yourself standing up.
Look at yourself in profile,
Standing tall and strong.
You can now imagine the person or the people or the event that you're wanting to release
into this picture.
You only have to bring them as close as is comfortable for you.
Once they're there,
And you're looking at both yourself and them,
See if you can envision
the cords that are connecting you to them.
Notice what they look like,
How strong or thin they are,
How dense or light they are.
Notice where on your body they seem attached.
Now look down at your feet and see Archangel Michael's sword resting there,
And pick it up.
This sword will not cut through the light of love that connects all people.
Your hearts and your love will always remain.
This sword will only cut through emotional cords of attachment.
Take this sword now and cut these cords away from you,
Going at your own pace.
Check both the front and back of you for cords,
And as they get released,
Visualize a purple
light healing and filling the area where the cord was attached.
When you finish this process,
Envision the other person or people in a bubble of white
light.
Take a moment if you feel like there's things you want to say to them.
It can be loving words or whatever you need to express,
Whether that's anger or grief.
Your words won't hurt this person.
This is for your own self-expression and release.
Whatever you feel you need to say to feel better.
When you complete this,
Send them and their white bubble off to the universe.
Now look down at your own body and choose a color,
Whatever color you'd like to be
surrounded in to complete the healing process.
Fill yourself up with that color,
And then go lay back down in that safe,
Nurturing place
you imagined at the beginning of the meditation.
Rest and relax.
Feel gratitude that you honored your pain and that you chose to let it go.
You chose to bring more of your energy and focus back to you and your own happiness today,
And that is something to be so proud of.
You can choose to lay in this relaxing place as long as you feel,
Coming back whenever
you feel complete.
