Take a moment to find your seat or lie down comfortably,

Allow your body to be supported by the surface beneath you,

Closing your eyes if you'd like and just notice your breath as it is,

Inhaling gently,

Exhaling fully.

With each exhale,

Let your shoulders soften,

Your jaw unclench and your belly relax,

Letting your body know it is safe to rest.

Now begin to imagine you're standing barefoot on the earth.

It can be on soft grass or warm sand,

Rich soil.

Feel the texture beneath your feet,

The steadiness,

The weight of the ground holding you.

Visualize roots gently extending from the soles of your feet,

Traveling down into the earth,

Weaving deep into the soil and stone.

Feel how stable and supported you are in this connection.

As you inhale,

Imagine drawing up steady grounding energy from the earth.

As you exhale,

Release any tension,

Heaviness or worry down through your roots,

Letting the earth transform it.

Take a few breaths here,

Resting in that exchange.

Now imagine yourself slowly rising upward in your mind's eye,

As though you're floating above the earth.

See the vast oceans,

The winding rivers,

The mountains and valleys,

The forests breathing in rhythm with you.

From this perspective,

Take in the beauty of our shared home.

Notice how alive and intricate it is,

The dance of ecosystems,

The flow of weather,

The diversity of life.

With your next breath,

Allow your awareness to expand to the people of the earth.

Imagine cities buzzing with life,

Children playing,

Families gathering,

Farmers planting seeds,

Communities working together.

You might also notice places heavy with conflict or sorrow,

Areas marked by struggle or division or imbalance.

Gently and with compassion,

Imagine sending a wave of healing light there,

Like fresh rain falling on parched land,

Like a warm blanket wrapped around someone in need.

Allow this energy to reach wherever it's most needed.

Breathe in,

Receiving the peace of the earth,

And breathe out,

Offering your peace to the world.

Now picture people of every culture,

Every background,

Standing together in a circle around the planet,

Hands linked and hearts open.

Hear the sound of laughter,

Of music,

Of languages blending together.

See them planting trees,

Feeding one another,

Protecting animals,

Creating communities rooted in love and care.

Feel what it's like to imagine not just peace between people,

But also peace between humans and the earth itself.

A relationship of balance and respect,

Where every river,

Every forest,

Every creature is honored as sacred.

Silently repeat to yourself,

May the earth be at peace,

May all beings live in harmony,

May I be a part of this healing.

Breathing those words in and out a few times,

Letting them settle into your heart.

May the earth be at peace,

Now bring your focus gently back to your own body.

Feel your roots still grounded,

Your breath steady and calm.

Know that each peaceful thought,

Each kind action,

And each mindful choice you make is a part of this vision for a more peaceful earth.

Take a deep,

Nourishing breath in.

Exhale slowly.

When you're ready,

Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes,

Gently returning to the space around you.

And as you open your eyes,

Carry the sense of connection,

Gratitude,

And peace with you into the rest of your day.
