Hello and welcome beautiful soul to this sunrise visualization meditation.
You know each day we are gifted another 24 hours.
24 hours to dream,
To create,
To love and to tap into our joy.
And yet I know it doesn't always feel this way.
So if you are finding yourself today feeling already defeated,
Already exhausted,
This is a great meditation for you.
This is also a great meditation for those of you who are really craving a new beginning and a fresh start.
It's also great for those of you who tend to shoot out of bed in the morning and rush out the door.
Each day truly,
Truly matters and how we welcome each day matters as well.
What if we took the time to really honor and acknowledge the beautiful day that lay ahead?
How could that potentially change our day and maybe even change our lives?
Today let's find out.
Take these next few moments here to find a place that feels really comfortable for you.
You can do this meditation sitting or lying down or you can even do it while you're still laying in bed.
Whatever feels best for you.
And as you start to settle and tap into your body,
Start to notice how you're physically showing up in this moment.
How does the body feel?
How is your energy?
How is your mood?
There is so much power with simply checking in to see how we're showing up.
And once you have a pretty good idea of how you're showing up today,
Start to really tap into the breath.
Maybe first just noticing the breath as it moves in through the nose and out through the nose.
Noticing how it feels as the air,
The breath moves in all the way down to fill up the lungs.
And then exhaling all the way back out.
How does that feel in your body?
And with your next three to five exhales,
I invite you to relax on each exhale,
Allowing your body to relax and settle even deeper with each exhale here.
Ae Now from this very relaxed,
Gentle place,
Starting to bring to mind and imagining that it's the early morning dawn and the sun is just about to rise.
Visualizing yourself in a beautiful place,
It can be any place that comes to mind.
It could be the middle of a field or the top of a mountain,
The edge of the sea.
Start to imagine yourself in this place.
As you sit or stand here,
Start to really take in the scenery,
Take in the landscape.
What colors do you see?
What textures,
What animals?
Really allow yourself to be in this place.
As you peer out over the landscape,
You start to see in the very far off distance,
Tiniest sliver of sun start to rise from beyond the horizon.
And immediately,
Your eyes are pulled into this beautiful first sliver of light and a smile starts to come to your face.
With your next breath,
You watch that little light grow just a little bit bigger and a little bit brighter.
And you welcome this light.
You welcome each moment.
And you start to see and feel that light drift over your face as it grows and glows bigger and brighter.
And as the sun continues to rise to welcome you,
To welcome the world,
It starts to illuminate the sky,
Welcoming this new day,
Welcoming this new life.
And more and more,
The sun rises and the sun wakes,
Shining its rays out onto the world and the landscape that you're looking out upon becomes brighter,
More clear.
Continue to steady your gaze on this rising sun as it becomes even brighter now.
You can almost see the whole of the sun.
Take it in.
Breathe it in.
Welcome it.
Welcome this warmth.
Welcome this new beginning full of new opportunities,
New possibilities.
And maybe as you stand here being bathed in this sunlight,
Being bathed in this new day,
Your palms turn open toward the sun or maybe your arms raise up to the sky or maybe you place your hands over your heart in gratitude and thanks for this new day,
This new opportunity to make it whatever you want to make of it.
Breathe it in.
Breathe in this light.
Breathe in this warmth.
And as you continue to visualize this sun,
This new day that lay ahead of you,
You can repeat these affirmations after me.
I seize this day.
I am grateful for this day.
I love my life.
Today I will live with the energy of the sunrise within me.

Breathe it in.
And exhale,
Let it go.
