Hello everyone and welcome to this slow down and listen meditation.
You know,
It is so hard these days to slow down and listen to what our bodies,
Our hearts,
Our minds are really wanting and needing.
So if you find yourself caught up in all the busyness of the day,
Listen in on this meditation to help you really check in,
Tune in and listen to what your body,
Your mind and your spirit are truly wanting in this moment.
You can listen to this meditation anytime,
Anywhere.
First just bringing your awareness into the breath.
No need to change the breath in any way.
Just see if you can start to build a relationship with the breath.
Start to just watch it.
Move in through the nose and out through the nose.
You know,
If we really want to hear what our bodies,
Our minds,
Our hearts are asking for,
We got to be present.
And the breath is a beautiful way to access the present moment.
Starting to tune in to the physical body.
Maybe you start to realize and recognize where your body is at in space,
Whether you're sitting or walking or standing.
Starting to notice maybe the temperature.
Noticing any textures you might feel.
Taking a moment to check in with the energy,
How's your physical energy doing today?
Maybe even taking a moment here to ask,
What do you need from me?
What are you needing in this moment?
And taking that one level deeper.
Starting to check in with any emotions you might be feeling in this moment.
Are you feeling relaxed and content?
Are you feeling antsy and anxious?
Joyful?
Alive?
And whatever seems to bubble up for you,
Just meeting that emotion with non-judgment.
Your only job here is just to witness and observe.
And see if for a moment you can just be in that emotion.
Taking one level deeper here,
Starting to check in with your soul.
Checking in with your spirit,
The essence of who you are.
Believe it or not,
Our souls need attention too.
So taking a moment here to just see and ask and observe.
Get curious.
What is your soul craving in this moment?
What is your soul,
Your spirit,
Your essence really needing from you?
Giving yourself time and space to see just if any little whispers pop up.
Any little voices,
Any guidance,
Any wisdom your soul wants to offer you.
And from here,
Taking one hand or both hands over your heart and promising yourself that whatever it is that your physical body needs,
Whatever emotions need tending to,
Whatever your soul is asking for in this moment,
Promise yourself you'll follow through.
You'll give yourself exactly what it is that you are needing and craving and desiring in this moment.
Take a breath in and out.
