Transcript

I want you to begin by taking a deep breath in,

Hold,

And exhale.

Take a deep breath in and exhale.

Inhale any doubt,

Any stress,

Any negativity,

Anything that is weighing you down.

Begin to roll your shoulders back slowly as you continue to take deep,

Full breaths.

Notice where there is tension in your body and breathe into that area.

You want to be as relaxed and as open as possible.

My intention with this meditation is to align you with your intentions.

Every year we do this thing where we overwhelm ourselves,

Where we restrict ourselves with resolutions and goals.

There's no reason for us to be overwhelmed and anxious and feel rushed in deciding what we want for our entire year.

We don't have to restrict ourselves.

We can continue to revisit,

Reevaluate.

And that is why I think intentions are a great way to align your spirit.

In doing that,

You will achieve anything that you set out to do,

Any of those goals.

Because an intention comes from the heart and it aligns you with your higher self.

Intentions can be cultivated by simply asking yourself how you want to feel in this new year.

Do you want to feel calmer,

In control,

Powerful,

Compassionate,

Organized,

Understanding,

Healthier?

And what do you want to practice in the new year?

What we practice is what we become.

So when we choose habits and lifestyles that are good for us in mind,

Body and spirit,

We become so full of love,

Overflowing energy.

So we are going to be setting intentions together.

I want us to have more compassion for ourselves and to not perpetuate cycles that may be harmful to us.

And by getting clear and living with intention,

We can understand and live better lives.

So I want you to take your time and visualize yourself.

How do you look?

How do you smell?

What does your space look like?

How does it make you feel?

Imagine yourself as what you desire,

The best version of yourself.

As you visualize,

Feel.

Make sure you're tuning in to how the images,

What you see,

What you imagine is making you feel.

Watch as it raises your vibration.

I want you to claim it.

Claim it by speaking it over your new year in the present tense.

Embody what you desire.

I am energized.

I am motivated.

I am organized.

I honor myself.

I am compassionate.

I have everything that I need.

I am wealthy and abundant in spirit.

I am a conscious creator of my reality.

I know my purpose.

I speak with intention.

I know exactly who I am.

I have clarity of thought.

I am surrounded by genuine love and support.

These are just a few examples of things that I am manifesting for myself and would love to manifest for you as well if it resonates.

But it is just an example of the power of speaking in the present and feeling the emotion,

Knowing that your intentions are received.

The Spirit hears you.

This is going to be a beautiful year because it already is.

In our minds we have decided.

In our hearts we have decided.

And in our souls we have decided.

Feel free to write any of your intentions down.

Feel free to come back to this practice whenever you want to revisit your intentions,

You want to expound upon your intentions,

You have new intentions.

You can always return.

We do not have to rush.

Our goals,

Our success,

We are on our own path.

All we have to do is align with it.

For giving yourself love and attention and moving with intention and doing your best and showing up.

Thank you! 2020 was a particularly bad year for me. I lost both my wife and my father so surrounding myself with love is difficult these days! I will be revisiting this meditation frequently while I work towards making 2021 as good as 2020 was bad.
