I am Maryam Aisha and I will be guiding you through a meditation on self-love.
My intention with this meditation is to help bring you back to yourself,
To help remind you to be more compassionate with yourself,
To embrace yourself,
To really give yourself the love,
Attention,
Affection,
Etc.
Etc.
That you need.
A lot of times we seek things outwardly when we should give them first to ourselves and plant the seeds first with ourselves.
So I just want you to take this time to yourself and let all other thoughts fall away.
Once you're in a comfortable space,
Lying down or sitting up,
We're going to start off with some breath work.
I want you to put your hands out in front of you and form a ball.
And continue expanding.
Retracting,
Making it small.
Expanding,
Retracting.
Let the breath be continuous.
Just continue to breathe.
Just.
.
.
Only thing you're focusing on is your breath and matching your hands to your breath.
Father.
Father.
Father.
Father.
Father.
Father.
Father.
Father.
Father.
Father.
Feel the tension leaving your body,
Feeling your energy in your hands expanding.
You're gaining momentum,
You're feeling the tingling,
You're cultivating positive energy here.
Now I want you to rub your hands together.
Create heat,
Get that energy flowing,
Get that energy flowing.
And place one hand on your heart and one hand on your stomach.
Seeing yourself some of that healing energy.
And now I want you to allow yourself to think about your relationship with self.
How is it?
Do you love yourself?
Do you honor yourself?
Do you honor your feelings?
Is it hard for you to say I love you?
Do you beat yourself up?
Do you have trouble forgiving yourself?
Whatever feelings come up,
Allow them to surface.
Anything that we feel,
We can heal.
So don't judge yourself and don't try to suppress anything or mask anything.
Just observe what you're feeling.
Aware but not attached.
Let your feelings be your teachers.
Let your feelings guide you.
Now that you've thought about it,
Felt whatever came up for you,
I want you to commit to yourself here and now.
Commit to loving yourself and to showing up for yourself.
I want you to open your arms real wide and wrap them around yourself.
Give yourself a big hug.
Send all the love that you would send when you give someone else a hug.
Send that to yourself.
Send that light to yourself.
Send that love to yourself.
Hug yourself really tight.
And repeat after me.
I love you.
I accept you.
You are worthy.
You are loved.
You are protected.
You are amazing.
I am here for you.
I hear you.
I see you.
I forgive you.
I love you.
I trust you.
I care for you.
I protect you.
I embrace you.
I love you.
Continue to sing yourself healing light,
Healing energy.
Continue to hug yourself.
If you feel the need to rock back and forth or anything,
Allow yourself to feel.
Go with what you feel.
Continue to hug yourself as you allow my bowl to wash over you and cleanse any remnants of any self doubt,
Any self judgment.
Anything that is keeping you from fully loving yourself,
Allow it to be washed away and new energy to be called in.
I love you.
I love you.
You can come back to yourself and come out of your embrace.
Just notice how you feel in this moment to have affirmed yourself and to have loved yourself and to have hugged yourself just for this moment and continue to cultivate this relationship and work on the self love,
The self worth.
We are so worthy,
We are so loved and we are so protected and all we have to do is remind ourselves of that and make sure that we are our number one cheerleader.
I thank you so much for joining me and I hope you have a beautiful day or night.
