Taking a deep breath in through the nose,

Feeling the air fill the lungs and as you slowly exhale through your mouth,

Releasing any tension with each and every breath.

Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Becoming grounded and present in this moment.

Continuing to breathe in your own natural rhythm,

Noticing any sensations in the body.

Perhaps you can feel the rise and the fall of the chest.

Noticing the temperature of your body.

Tuning in to the sounds close by in the room and also ebbing and flowing with the sounds in the distance.

Setting your own intention for your practice today in the theme of new beginnings.

Perhaps on your next in-breath feel the drawing in of fresh energy,

Vitality and possibilities.

And as you breathe out,

Releasing any doubts,

Fears or worries that may be in your mind.

If your mind feels busy right now,

That's okay.

Just breathe through those thoughts,

Connecting with the body,

Creating space with each breath.

And along the way as you check in with yourself,

To help you bring yourself into this present moment,

Perhaps whispering the words gently in your mind.

Be here,

All of me,

Right here,

Right now.

As you clear the mind with the breath,

Perhaps see each thought as a leaf gently floating off a tree branch,

Onto a stream.

Slowly drifting away.

With each exhalation,

Releasing any remnants of the past.

Allowing them to float away on this stream.

Noticing how you feel as you let go.

And open up to the new possibilities of this new month.

If you can,

Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a beautiful path.

Notice what your path looks like.

Bringing awareness into any of the details that you can see on the path.

This is your path to fresh beginnings.

Full of hope and potential.

The air around you feels warm and inviting.

And there's a sense of peace as you step forward.

Visualizing yourself walking now along this path.

Noticing how your steps feel.

Noticing the earth beneath your feet.

Embracing all that is on this path.

As you move forward,

You're leaving behind any limiting beliefs.

And truly stepping forward into your power.

Into your strength.

As you soak up the energy on your path.

Start to tune into the body.

The feet.

The knees.

The tops of the legs.

The hips.

Bringing awareness into the lower belly.

The upper belly.

Noticing how your heart space feels.

As you open up to this new possibility.

Noticing any sensation in the throat.

And bringing awareness into the face.

Relaxing each muscle on the face.

And feeling the light of the sun shining on the top of your head.

The sun is guiding you through new experiences.

And know that with each new day of this new month.

You're becoming more aligned.

You're exactly where you need to be right now.

What else do you see on this path?

What can you hear?

What smells and aromas surround you?

As you walk along your path.

Repeating these affirmations silently to yourself.

And just seeing how each affirmation resonates with you.

I am open to new beginnings and fresh possibilities.

I trust myself and the journey ahead.

Every day is a new opportunity for growth and change.

I release the past and embrace the future with open arms.

I am ready to step into my full potential.

Just allowing these words of affirmation to sink into your whole being.

Powering you to move forward.

With courage,

Clarity and confidence.

And over these next few moments.

Taking some time to feel gratitude.

Gratitude for being here in this moment of stillness.

Gratitude for each and every breath that you take on each new day.

Gratitude for life.

And as you admire this place that you've journeyed on today on this new path.

Know that you can return to this place,

This place of peace and renewal whenever you want.

Gently bringing your awareness back into the breath.

Taking a deep inhalation through the nose.

Filling the lungs with fresh air.

And exhaling,

Grounding yourself.

Grounding yourself back in this room.

Bringing attention into the body.

Connecting with the top of the head.

Perhaps bringing some gentle movement into the face.

Rotating the shoulders if it feels nice for you to do so.

And feeling that energy flow down your left arm and your right arm.

Connecting that energy into the hands and the fingertips.

And feeling that grounding energy move down the left leg and the right leg.

Connecting you back into the earth with your feet.

Wiggling your toes.

And welcoming yourself back into your body.

Feeling grateful for all that is to come in this next month.

When you feel ready,

Gently opening your eyes.

Perhaps bringing your hands,

Your palms of your hands together.

And rubbing the palms of the hands,

Creating energy,

Creating warmth there.

Perhaps you might like to place the warm palms of your hands now on your face.

On your brow,

On your cheeks.

Perhaps on your jaw.

Your hands and your face are your biggest connection with your brain.

It's time to wake up the brain.

As you feel revitalized.

To continue with the rest of your day.

If you had an intention for your practice,

Just holding that intention back in your mind.

Allowing it to cultivate into your meditation practice.

And trust that you are ready for your new beginning.
