Many blessings and welcome to this short guided meditation on taking a mental break.
You can use this guided meditation at any time throughout the day when you feel you just need to take a few minutes to reset,
Refresh,
Let go,
And come back to your day or whatever you're doing with a new expanded happy state of mind.
So just take a moment to get comfortable and take several deep breaths.
Breathing in deeply and exhaling,
Softening your shoulders,
Softening your mind,
Softening your heart.
Each exhale is an emptying,
A letting go,
A releasing,
An opportunity to melt into this moment.
Allowing everything else to fade.
And it's as though there are showers of peace,
Showers of bliss washing over you.
Each exhale you feel this more and more deeply.
And you feel yourself coming home to your center.
All of those external details of life,
You just let them roll off of you.
And you find yourself coming into a greater and greater place of relaxation and peace.
Coming home to yourself,
To this moment,
To this breath.
Allowing the weight of the world to wash off your shoulders.
And you're simply resting in peace,
Feeling yourself bathing in divine light.
In the same way you take in the light of the sun on your skin,
Taking in this spiritual light and feeling lighter and lighter,
More and more relaxed,
More and more at peace.
And now you feel that light of the divine washing through your mind,
Like water cleansing and rinsing,
Healing your mind,
Clearing your mind.
You feel that light coming in and rinsing your mind clean,
Clear and light.
And as your mind softens and relaxes and empties,
You feel your whole body relax.
And you feel you can just take a deep breath,
A sigh of relief to just pause,
To just let go,
Clear and cleanse.
And just taking one more moment to feel this light wash over you and see how much of this spiritual energy,
The spiritual light you can take in,
Allow in.
And just for the next moment,
See how relaxed,
How deeply relaxed you can feel.
Feeling as though you are floating in an endless ocean of peace and ocean of light.
And you are completely renewed and refreshed.
And now taking a few breaths to bring yourself fully present in the room that you're in,
This moment,
This time,
Yet maintaining this feeling of lightness and peace,
Freedom,
So that you come back to your day refreshed,
Completely renewed.
And knowing that it only takes a few minutes to reconnect,
Pause and center yourself,
And that you can practice this anytime you need to.
The more we allow ourselves,
Our deepest selves,
To renew,
To remember the peace of our hearts,
Of our minds,
Of our truth.
As we do this,
We're able to be present,
Relaxed,
And loving in our lives.
And so taking this love,
This lightness,
This peace,
This calm with you into your day and sharing that light with all those you touch.
