Welcome to a short morning or evening post-workout meditation.
Allow your beautiful body to rest on the ground,
Reconnecting to the gravitational pull of the earth,
Feeling the weight of your body resting on the ground,
And taking nice deep inhales and exhales.
Relax the back of your beautiful body and allow the mind to focus on the belly rising and falling.
Watch the belly rise and fall,
Simply observe it.
Soften the front of the body,
Expanding the heart and the chest area.
Soften the eyes and imagine your body resting and dropping into the ground.
And breathe.
On the next couple of inhales and exhales,
Imagine the length of your body getting so long that it takes up the entire length of the room you're in and beyond.
And on the next couple of inhales and exhales,
Imagine the width of your body getting so wide that it takes up the entire width of the room you are in and beyond.
Imagine the depth of your body becoming so deep that the space between the front and back is vast and your organs have space to breathe.
Let the body rest into the ground and into this newfound space.
And in your giant new being,
Imagine beautiful rays of sunlight cascading all around you,
Warming your body from the inside out and breathe into the warmth.
It's okay to take up space.
Quietly breathe your name in and out,
Coming back to your core and who you are.
Let your body,
The warm cells,
The bones,
The muscles,
The ligaments,
And the tendons match the frequency of your name as you inhale and exhale for the next 30 seconds.
And drawing your beautiful new large arms over your head,
Drawing down through the soles of your new feet,
Wrapping those beautiful arms around your shoulders,
Giving your new long,
Wide,
And deep body a big hug,
Thanking your body for being with you every day from the beginning to the end.
And when you're ready,
Rolling over to one side as you're just getting out of bed and coming up to a seated position.
And you are ready for your day.
