Welcome to the meditation part of Jiang Xin Fitness.
This is a heart centered meditation that you can do in a lying down position,
A seated position or even belly down to the ground,
Depending on what your body's needs are in this moment.
Go ahead and get comfortable and I invite you to close your eyes.
Activate the lower belly breathing,
Inhaling through the nose your belly rises and exhale through the mouth your belly falls.
As you begin to breathe,
Relax your body into the ground,
Softening your shoulders and feeling rooted to the earth.
Inhale your belly rises,
Exhale your belly falls.
On the next couple of inhales and exhales,
Imagine your spine getting longer and longer until it fills up the entire length of the room that you're in and beyond.
Let your body get as long as it possibly can,
Increasing the space between your vertebrae.
As your spine lengthens,
Your belly rises on the inhale and falls on the exhale.
On the next couple of inhales and exhales,
Imagine the width of your body,
Increasing until it fills up the entire width of this room,
The room that you're in and beyond.
Feel the space that is being created through the length and the width of your body.
Your belly rises on the inhale and falls on the exhale.
Taking deep breaths into this newfound space.
On the next couple of inhales and exhales,
Imagine the depth of your body increasing the space between the front and the back until the depth of your body is so solid you find your core here,
The core of who you are existing in the depth of your body.
You are now as long and as wide and as deep as you can possibly be.
Feel into this space,
Let the belly rise on the inhale and fall on the exhale.
On the next couple of inhales and exhales,
Imagine a white light coming down from the sky and entering the top of your head,
Cascading down through your brain and down your spine.
And at the same time,
A beautiful red light enters the base of your spine from the center of the earth,
Cascading up your spine.
This red light from the ground and white light from the sky meet at your core in the depth of your being.
And the colors mix and swirl and start to push anything that is no longer necessary in your life out of your body,
Out of your being until your entire being is filled with beautiful white and red light.
Your belly rises on the inhale and falls on the exhale.
Imagine this light is so magnificent that it starts to push its way out of the depth of your being and surrounds you in a beautiful color that is the essence of you.
See this color.
Know this color.
Let this color circulate all around your being,
Cleansing you from the inside out and the outside in.
Your belly rises on the inhale and falls on the exhale.
Imagine say your name to yourself,
Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
Let the resonance of your name cascade up and down your spine,
Finding its center in the heart,
Your heart.
Exhaling through the nose,
Let your belly rise,
Exhale through the mouth,
Let your belly fall.
Slowly wiggle your toes,
Wiggle your fingers,
Touch your body,
Touch your arms and your legs.
Say quietly to yourself,
I live here.
This is the body I live in.
Make a commitment this week like I am too to do one healthy thing for this amazing body that we live in.
Gently,
If you have been lying down,
Roll over to one side and carefully push yourself up into a seated position.
Open your eyes if you haven't opened them already.
Feel the space that you've created within your body.
