Post workout, when the body has maximum electricity running through it, we want to ground and allow the organs to come to a state of homeostasis. This is a great meditation for this. Enjoy! This is for you.

Feeling the weight of your bones,

Your muscles,

Your physical body on the ground.

Remembering that under the ground is the earth.

One of the beautiful things about planet earth is that it's a great recycler.

And so you can let everything go out of your system that doesn't serve you,

Thought forms,

Any sort of poisons that you may have ingested,

Any injuries out of your body and into the ground where it will be recycled into beautiful new flowers.

Notice how much lighter you may feel already just by that willingness to let everything go to a system that knows how to recycle,

Replenish and renew.

The planet's been doing that for millions of years and it will continue to do that with or without us.

Then drawing your attention to the sun which cascades through the ceiling,

Through the roofs,

Through the weather,

Through the darkness and around your body heating yourself,

Heating yourselves from the inside out.

And so there's a flow that's happening now with the sun cascading around your physical body and the letting go of everything that does not serve you into the ground.

Your body is a conduit for this energy.

Now let's draw our attention to watching our belly rise and fall as we are a conduit for the sunlight and the recycling process.

The mind will try to jump to the past which is over or to the future which is hasn't happened and that's just what it does.

So we get to be a master of that for a moment while we watch her belly rise and fall.

On every inhale the muscles relax and on every exhale the muscles relax even more.

So we have fresh oxygen moving through all the organs of our body.

There's a lot going on just by lying here and watching the belly rise and fall.

The body never stops until it does.

We trust it enough when we go to sleep,

We wake up and there it is doing the same thing for us,

Breathing,

Recycling.

We can actively extend those arms way over our head,

Stretching down through the soles of your feet.

And this is where the mind works with the body plus the phrase mind body.

But really the mind is not doing much.

And then let's bring those knees in and roll over to one side.

It's low,

You're getting out of bed.

And pressing yourself up to see the position when you're ready.

Remembering that you can do this workout many times a week,

Many times a month.

Thank you for letting me be your guide this Sunday.

Remember there's no class next Sunday,

But there's lots of classes during the week.
