Welcome.
Thank you for making space for you to just be and to breathe.
Choosing a comfortable position,
Whatever suits you in this moment.
Allowing your shoulders to melt away from the ears and as though there is a thread gently lifting crown longer,
Taller,
And tail longer.
Allow that length and decompression to occur in your body.
Taking a deep inhale through the nose,
Let it fill your body with new fresh air.
Pausing at your peak,
Take in one more sip of air.
Notice where it flows.
Lips part,
Gently sigh as you release.
Allow the exhale to release something,
Anything.
Deep inhale through the nose.
Allow your ribs to expand in all directions.
Shoulders stay soft.
When you find your peak,
Pause in stillness,
In peace.
Take in one more smooth sip of air.
Feel softness in your entire body.
When you're ready,
Mouth open,
Let go.
One more,
A little deeper,
Smooth inhale through the nose.
Filling,
Taking one more smooth sip.
Feel your weight get heavier as your forehead softens.
Mouth open,
Let go,
Maybe sigh.
Gently noticing the shift of energy within your body.
Continuing with this breath pace if it feels serving or shifting to a more cyclical breath with no beginning,
No end.
Smooth.
Closing down through the eyes if it is comfortable or maybe a gentle gaze out over the nose.
Shifting your consciousness to your place of peace within your body,
Within your energy.
It's okay if you don't have a familiarity with this place of peace.
You can simply follow your breath,
Observing its inflow into the body,
Fueling the body,
Observing its outflow,
Releasing.
Gently notice what's coming up for you.
Giving space to whatever is there and honoring it has a purpose.
Maybe it's a feeling,
An emotion,
A sensation.
Perhaps it's nothing.
That's okay too.
Stay with the observation and curiosity of yourself.
Gently observing this place of peace.
Perhaps it's within the breath.
Perhaps it's within the body or within your energy field.
Gently lean in.
Lean into its vastness,
Its contentness exactly as it is.
Feeling the weight of your body grow heavier in a pleasant welcome way.
Shoulders soften.
Letting go.
There's nothing to hold.
There's nothing to brace from.
You can soften.
Feeling your body relax.
Feeling a flush of peace roll through your body.
Every hair on their head softens.
The muscles around the eyes let go.
Your jaw releases.
Neck gently lets go of the weight of the head.
Shoulders draw a little closer to the earth.
As you relax,
Notice if the space and freedom within your breath grows.
Giving the hips permission to anchor,
To root.
The thighs let go.
The calves melt just a little more.
The feet fully release.
It is safe to be.
Counting from 10 to 1.
Relaxing more with each.
Feel your breath smoothly flowing in and out.
9,
8,
Let go a little more.
7,
5,
Be with your breath.
4,
3,
2,
1.
You are safe.
You feel good.
Observing the energy flowing in on your inhale.
On your exhale,
Letting it release something you no longer need.
Let go of what's not serving you.
Feel freedom to sigh or groan or make any noises.
Making space to move energy.
To let go even of things that don't need to be known or labeled.
Eyelids grow so heavy.
Becoming an observer of your body,
Of your energy.
What you notice,
What you feel.
Counting from 1 to 10.
We'll slowly become more and more aware of the physical body with each count.
1,
2,
Feel your breath.
3,
4,
Soften the face.
5,
6,
7,
Wiggle the toes ever so gently.
8,
9,
10.
Feel your body and what it is connecting to.
What is being held by.
Feel your body being held and trust that you are held.
Take a deep inhale through the nose.
Let it fill your body with new,
Fresh,
Rejuvenated energy.
Pausing at your peak and sipping one more smooth inhale.
Mouth open,
Release maybe sigh.
Deep inhale through the nose.
Feel the ribs open,
The belly fills,
The ribs and lungs expand.
Second inhale.
Lips part,
Release.
Once again,
Deep inhale.
Feel that length in your spine from tail to crown.
Shoulders rest heavy.
Second sip.
Mouth open,
Let go.
Staying and steeping in this peace that you have created for as long as you wish to.
When it feels ready and only when it truly feels ready for you.
Gently fluttering the eyes open if they're not already.
Wiggling fingers,
Wiggling toes.
Bringing yourself back to this space that you are in.
Thank you for taking care of you for this short journey.
Take a couple moments to recognize the shift in energy and any effects of your practice that you might notice.
Perhaps take this time to journal what might come,
Might have come up for you.
Or perhaps an intention you'd like to weave into your day or upcoming days.
Breathe deeply.
Enjoy.
