Come to your morning in the body, as the body, and as awareness watching the body. This guided meditation takes you through all the body parts and anchors you in the Now. Welcome and thanks for joining me for this morning sit.

Find a place where you're comfortable and that your spine can be straight and your feet can be on the floor touching the ground connecting to earth.

As we energize we wake to presence.

We build energy for this day whatever comes here and now ready and willing.

So closing your eyes and just coming in to a body scan and making sure that all parts of you are welcome,

Felt,

Experienced.

I'm checking in at the bottoms of your feet,

Soften.

A moment to say hello to the toes,

Top of the foot and then up the lower leg,

Front of the leg,

Around the back the calves.

Just noticing.

There's nothing to change or fix just being with.

Up the leg,

Front of the thigh,

Back of the leg,

Hamstring area.

Wrapping up glutes,

Hips.

Just pausing for a moment,

Really taking in this body,

This moment.

Internally connecting to the pelvic floor,

Sex organs,

Intestinal system.

Just awareness building right side of the body,

Liver,

Gallbladder,

Shifting over stomach and then left side,

Spleen,

Pancreas.

On the inside of the body now,

Coming up heart area,

Esophagus,

Inside of the mouth even,

Tongue,

Teeth.

Just aware,

Noticing if there's anything that's calling your attention and now back on the outside of the body,

Entire torso,

Up the back.

Just notice muscles of the back,

Spinal column,

All the way up to the neck,

Face,

Tuning in,

Jaw,

Mouth,

Nose,

Eyes.

Even noticing the whole skull of hair is present,

Just tuning in.

If not,

It's tuning into skin.

And now pulling away a little and just seeing this form.

Sitting,

Preparing,

Awareness,

Always watching awareness.

Was there while you were noticing all the parts of the body.

You're just resting,

Resting with awareness as awareness.

If thoughts come,

Just allow them to arise within this awareness.

Body sensations also arising within this awareness.

Everything arising within this awareness.

And just notice,

Does this awareness actually have any edges?

Can you sense the space and the spaciousness in you,

Around you?

Extending out,

Feeling the energy going out into the room,

Opening your eyes for a moment.

Looking around,

Still awareness is looking.

What does it see?

Take all of this into your day.

Take all of this into each moment as we breathe and look around.

Big,

Deep,

And full breaths.

What just can happen?

Just be with it all.

Ready to greet and meet what life gives today.

Peace to us all.
