Fight-Or-Flight | 3-Minute Reset
What if calming down had less to do with taking a deeper breath... and more to do with letting go? This 3-minute Pursed-Lip Breathing practice uses a gentle 4-count inhale & a longer 6-count exhale to help calm the nervous system and regulate the fight-or-flight response. By slowing and extending the exhale, this technique helps signal safety to the body, making it easier to release tension and settle anxious energy. Many people experience a noticeable shift within 4-6 rounds, including slower breathing, reduced anxiety, less physical tension, quieter thoughts, and a greater sense of control. Use this for anxiety, overwhelm, stress, panic, racing thoughts, breathlessness, pre-sleep calming, or anytime you need a gentle reset. Practice this daily to help your body learn that it doesn't need to stay on high alert all the time.
