Finding a comfortable spot to sit down,
Feet on the floor,
Hands on your lap,
Taking a nice gentle deep breath in and out,
And closing your eyes,
Slowing down,
Switching off.
There are times in life where we get overwhelmed.
With all that's going on in the world,
It's easy to feel overwhelmed.
But as you sit there,
In this moment,
Listening to the sound of my voice,
You can start to let go of any feelings of being overwhelmed.
It's nice to recognise that at this moment,
There's nothing you need.
You're here,
In this space,
In this moment,
Having this experience.
Sitting with the breath,
Allowing the eyes to rest,
Allowing the mind to become quieter and quieter.
It is a powerful question to ask yourself,
In any moment of overwhelm.
What do I need in this moment?
Very often when you stop and ask yourself,
What do I need in this moment?
You'll find the answer is nothing.
I'm here,
Now,
Breathing.
And recognising yourself to be in the moment,
Breathing,
Brings a sense of relief and release.
Remembering that powerful question,
What do I need now?
And having a gentle stretch and a slightly deeper breath,
You can open your eyes and come back to the day.
