In this meditation,
We are gonna dig deeper into what we need emotionally.
Oftentimes in life,
We react based on what we need emotionally,
But we don't realize we're doing that.
Ultimatums are a great example of that.
We issue an ultimatum when something is not being met.
We're trying to gain control of what is going on.
So in this meditation,
We're gonna ask ourselves some very simple questions about what we need emotionally and how we can get it.
So to begin,
Get yourself in a comfortable seated position.
Let's start by getting our mind centered and calm.
Let's take a deep breath in,
The count of three.
One,
Two,
Three,
And exhale for the count of four.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And another deep breath in.
One,
Two,
Three,
And exhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
I want you to continue that deep breathing at your own pace.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Now I want you to imagine a bright white light energy coming in from the sky,
Flowing down in through the top of our head,
Flowing throughout our body,
Bringing us centered,
Calming energy,
Bringing us the information that we are about to access.
Begin by asking yourself,
What emotional need am I not needing?
Now ask yourself,
What emotional need am I not needing?
Now ask yourself,
How do I want this emotional need to be met?
Let's take a deep breath in,
And take a deep breath out.
I want this emotional need to be met.
Now ask yourself,
How can I meet this need on my own?
How can I meet this need on my own?
If you feel like you can't meet this need on your own,
How can you get this need met?
Finally ask,
Is there anything else about this emotional need that you need to know?
If you feel like you can't meet this need on your own,
How can you get this need on your own?
Now I want you to bring your presence back to the room,
Opening your eyes,
Slowly starting to move about.
I encourage you to take the information that you have received and either explore it more by journaling about it or doing another meditation.
Or if you've got concrete information to act on,
Do that right away.
Put it in your calendar.
Execute what you have received so that you don't lose that information.
Understanding our emotional needs can be a process.
It takes time.
Especially when we're focusing on understanding how we can meet our own needs.
So if this is occurring for you and there's still a lot of anxiety around those emotions,
Continue to do this meditation over,
Continue to journal and continue to work on understanding what those needs are and how you can face them on your own.
Thank you so much for sharing your practice with me today.
