Settling in.

.

.

Taking a deep,

Nourishing breath.

.

.

Letting air fill your body.

.

.

And letting it go.

.

.

Inviting your shoulders to fall away from your ears.

.

.

As you come into this moment,

Shedding whatever came before.

.

.

And leaving be what might come after.

.

.

Stepping into what is right now.

.

.

The experience of being alive to this moment.

.

.

As you awaken your senses,

Noticing simple details of the space you are in.

.

.

The temperature of the air.

.

.

The sounds that surround you.

.

.

The feeling of your body on the floor.

.

.

Can you meet this moment with a level of acceptance?

Perhaps right now in your life,

There is struggle,

Hardship,

Pain.

.

.

But if even for a split second,

Can you give your heart a rest from sorrow?

In this stillness,

Can you connect with a glimmer of peace?

Imagining this glimmer of peace surrounding you,

A blanket of safety and security.

.

.

Holding you in its warmth.

.

.

Giving you permission to release where you need to release.

.

.

Giving you permission to ask for what you need.

.

.

Giving you permission to just be you.

.

.

If it feels right for you,

You can even put your hand on your heart.

.

.

Maybe even one on your belly.

.

.

Repeating to yourself,

I am okay.

.

.

Maybe even finding a slight smile in the corners of your eyes.

.

.

I am okay.

.

.

Joining me for a nourishing breath.

.

.

In through the nose.

.

.

Out through the mouth.

.

.

I am okay.

.

.

Letting go.

.

.

When you feel ready,

You can invite gentle and intentional movement back into your body.

.

.

Welcoming yourself back.

.

.

Sending gratitude to yourself for taking the time to slow down.

.

.

Carrying this with you through the remainder of your day.
