Welcome to this beautiful,
Mindful morning routine.
My name is Anais,
I'll be guiding you through a beautiful morning boosting meditation.
Let's start off by making yourself very comfortable.
You can remain laying down in your bed,
Or maybe you are ready in your meditation chair,
Inviting in a deep breath into your body,
A sense of waking up,
Receiving fresh,
New cleansing energy,
And as you exhale,
Releasing out anything old,
Stuck,
Anything that's weighing heavily on you.
Exhale fully,
Now as you inhale,
Receiving the newness,
Breathing in just a bit deeper,
Allowing it to seep into every cell in your body,
And as you exhale,
Release even more of that mental or physical load.
Do that one more time,
At your own pace,
Now become aware of how your breath prefers to flow,
And what pace,
What rhythm,
Noticing the cold air touching your nostrils,
Traveling through the inside of your nose,
And then releasing out again through your mouth or nose.
Your sense of self,
When we focus on the breath,
Our self-awareness comes back online,
Can you feel it?
Now place one hand or both hands on your heart,
And bring somebody into your mind who you love dearly.
Start to breathe just a little bit deeper,
Opening up your heart,
Inviting in oceans of love,
And as you exhale,
Finding a sense of gratitude,
Keep breathing in unconditional love,
Also called metta,
And sending out gratitude,
And see it flow into your day.
Breathe in love,
Exhale gratitude,
Breathe in love,
Feel your heart crack wide open,
And send out gratitude into the world.
Now imagine somebody who you'd like to send some loving kindness to today,
Maybe somebody who needs your support,
Or maybe just somebody you love,
And want to send love,
Take a deep breath in of metta,
Unconditional love,
Loving kindness,
Feel it fill up your heart completely,
And as you exhale,
Imagine you are sending it out to this person,
Right into their heart.
Take another deep breath in of unconditional love,
Feel your heart start to tingle or become warm,
And as you exhale,
Send it out to this person.
One last time,
Take a deep breath in of metta,
And release it,
Send it out to them.
See and feel how it reaches them,
Now allow your breath to flow naturally again,
And become aware of how your mind has settled down,
How your body is relaxed from this heart centred place.
Take a moment to reflect on what you can be grateful for today,
As you are visualizing people,
Things,
Places or experiences,
Allow this to flow over into visualizing your day today,
Keep feeling this sense of gratitude for how your day will go,
Even if something hasn't happened yet,
Can you find gratitude for the beautiful surprises and blessings that are awaiting you today?
See yourself go about your day,
Being around the people you love,
Spending time doing what you love and feel a sense of gratitude for it all,
It can be even for the smallest things,
Such as the sunlight peeking through a window,
Having a roof over your head,
Having access to meals,
Water,
Electricity,
Internet,
Breathe it all in,
As you are visualizing your day in all the blessings,
Notice if you can let yourself form an intention for today,
Something you like to focus on or prioritize,
Maybe you can form a positive statement with your intention,
Take a deep breath into your intention for today,
Your focus and then exhale and release it,
Trusting that the seed has been planted and the plant will grow,
Through the actions you take,
You are making sure that your intention has a ripple effect in your life,
Allow any new ideas,
Clarity or insights to come to you,
Carry this sense of gratitude with you during your day,
It's scientifically proven to improve your solution-oriented skills,
To boost your positivity as well as your optimism,
To see the other side of the coin,
The limitless possibilities that are out there,
Just by being grateful,
So during your day,
Whenever you notice you're defensive,
Irritated,
Stressed,
Anxious or anything else,
Ask yourself what went well today,
What went well today,
As humans we have a negativity bias and every time you're grateful,
You're switching the coin and tuning into positivity,
Solutions,
New opportunities,
I'm wishing you the most beautiful day today,
Whenever you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes and come back into the space that you're in,
