Take a nice slow deep inhalation really allowing the belly to expand inviting this nourishing oxygen exhaling through the mouth slowly deeply making as much sound here as you would like to really letting go already beginning to relax both body and mind repeating this process two more times noticing how the breath feels as the body expands noticing how your thoughts begin to fade more with each exhalation noticing how your posture begins to relax allowing the eyelids to relax even deeper surrendering the whole body to the gentle grounding energy of gravity and with the next breath beginning to scan the whole body with compassion without any judgment noticing where you are tense and where you are relaxed maybe allowing some of those areas of relaxation to flow into those areas of tension and repeating after me in your mind or out loud I am safe I accept how I feel in this moment and I choose to relax now and if there are any lingering thoughts worries or to do's taking up space in your mind acknowledge them now again without judgment knowing that you have nowhere else to be in this moment allowing those thoughts to fade and blur evaporating above you and bringing your attention to the top of your head inviting relaxation into this space relaxing the muscles around your eyes and if it feels good maybe gently massaging a circle over the eyebrows over the temples under the eyes and back around again notice the sinuses relaxing breathing easily as your eyes relax even further going deeper into the sensations of your body you repeating after me I am safe I am calm I choose to relax here very good notice that relaxation moving gently down releasing any tension in your jaw and you know that when you relax your jaw you send a message to your whole body that it is safe to relax feel that relaxation in your neck turning your head from side to side if it feels good feel the relaxation melting down over your shoulders now again awareness without judgment of any sensations here awareness of your chest and any sensations here and placing your hands over your heart if it feels good and taking another deep inhalation inviting in whatever you need in this moment maybe it's calm or compassion forgiveness gratitude acceptance exhaling anything that does not serve you now moving your attention to the arms the right bicep the right forearm down to the fingertips and over to the left arm down to the forearm and down to the left fingertips noticing the energy in your hands and if it feels good allow the hands to make their way to the belly breathing easily deeply expanding with the inhale sending gratitude and compassion to this part of the body such an important part of our nervous system where messages are sent and received millions of times a day notice how you're feeling here in your belly without judgment thank you belly for filtering all the nutrients for connecting to intuition you another nice deep letting go breath here moving the awareness to the groin to the hips quads down to the knees notice the shins and around to the calves becoming aware of the ankles the feet the soles of the feet feeling the energy that is flowing down into each toe and noticing now where you are grounded if it's your feet on the floor your back against a supportive surface or your seat in a chair take a moment to notice that you are grounded feel the energy of that grounding knowing that the energy that is keeping you grounded is the same energetic force connecting you to all living beings and with your next deep inhalation bringing your attention back to the top of the head and if your mind has wandered that is of no matter simply return to the sound of my voice and notice now a beautiful color forming about 14 inches above your head any color or colors you imagine in any form is perfect and correct and notice now that beautiful color flowing in to the top of your head like a healing wave of energy or a relaxing shower flowing all the way through your body relaxing you even deeper until it flows out the bottoms of your feet cleansing and clearing any remaining tension and one more time that beautiful color flowing in the top of your head relaxing your cheeks your neck shoulders chest arms all the way through to the fingertips relaxing your torso hips legs all the way down to the soles of your feet any remaining stress washing down clearing flowing down into the center of the earth taking a moment now to notice that there is any part of you that needs a little more attention taking your awareness there without judgment and with compassion asking that part or part how can I help you what do you need you allowing the answer to come and see yourself giving that part what it needs see it transform and relax even deeper and taking one last scan of the body from head to toe with a deep nourishing inhalation thanking the body for keeping you safe for always being in the process of healing you thanking yourself for taking this time to relax to boost your immune system as you honor your body you are honoring the entire planet today and take a moment now to send this healing energy to the living things that surround you in your home or community you see this healing energy as light streaming from you understanding that it is endless sending this endless light and energy out to the entire world as if you were lighting up a grid a beautiful network of nourishing life force and notice now how that nourishing energy returns to you how it calms you or energizes you ready to take this into your day or night and into your heart you you
