Hey there,
Welcome to day 11 of Radiance.
I hope you are feeling amazing and a deeper connection with yourself and with your beautiful body.
So for today's practice,
You could sit.
If you are sitting,
Sitting in a chair actually might be better.
Or you can stand.
And I invite you to bring your eyes to close.
Feel yourself arriving for today's practice.
Seek out your breath and begin following your in-breath.
Down into the space of your ribcage and your belly.
I mean the out breath.
As it flows up and releases out through your nose or maybe your mouth.
And with your awareness acknowledging the muscles of your body,
The bones of your body.
Noticing your inner organs.
And how they're all working together to hold you up in this moment.
They're all working together right now to express your aliveness and to express your radiance,
Your glow,
Your shine.
And if it feels right,
Just smile gently and imagine that smile occurring through these layers of you,
Your muscles,
Your bones,
Your organs.
So it's not a surface smile just across your face.
It is a deep,
Internal,
Embodied smile.
And then today we connect with your fluid body.
Some say that we are more than 90% water.
And there are many different types of fluid inside of us.
But rather than going into specific types of fluid,
Let's just think about the fluids within us all being like water.
So whether you're standing or sitting right now,
Let your body just shift its weight a little side to side or forward and back and begin to imagine your fluid body,
The water inside of you,
Starting to slosh around a little bit.
Now if you're gripping really tightly with your muscles or you're holding your joints very tightly or even gripping within your organs,
It may be hard to feel this sense of fluidity.
So loosen up,
Relax,
Maybe even open your mouth slightly.
And in a very small and gentle way,
Just find a little rocking,
A little swaying.
A little swooshing around of your fluid body.
Be like water.
At least on the inside right now.
Your fluid body is contained and held by your skin.
So let it flow.
Let it move about and flow.
As it wishes inside of you.
And then come into a still place and using your mind's eye or your imagination,
Visualize your fluid body and notice how filled up you are.
If you were a glass,
Are you half full?
Are you half empty?
Are you three quarters of the way full?
Are you 90% full?
And is your water body,
Your fluid body,
Is it clear?
Is it dark?
Is it a color?
How do you imagine it or see it?
We can feel physically stuck,
We can feel mentally stuck,
Emotionally stuck.
Sometimes life doesn't seem to flow very easily for us and one way that we can remedy that is by getting our own inner fluid body moving.
So let's do a little more movement from our fluid body really gently.
We're going to roll down through our spine.
And you can do this from seated or standing.
Let your knees be soft.
Drop your head and begin to roll forward.
Your shoulders drop,
Your arms towards the earth.
Imagine the fluid beginning to pool and fill through these areas,
Your head,
Your hands,
Your arms.
And your torso as you hang forward.
And if it's possible for you,
Sway here a little side to side.
And then keeping your knees bent,
Especially if you're standing,
Push into your feet.
Rely a little bit on the bones and the muscles and begin to roll slowly back up.
Be like water and feel the water inside of you shifting and beginning to pool towards the lower half of your body.
Repeat that a couple more times at your own pace,
Just rolling forward and down.
Take your time.
Rolling up when you're ready.
Use your breath.
And the next time you roll up through your spine to sit tall or stand tall,
Just pause.
And find a sense of equilibrium.
Invite your water to become still inside of you.
And then shift your posture to feel more comfortable if you need to.
You could even come to sit if you've been standing.
Sometimes because we have these bodies and they seem so dense and physical to us,
We forget how much water we hold inside of us and how fluid our bodies actually are.
And when we allow our fluid body to be fluid,
To flow.
Blood can circulate,
Oxygen can circulate,
Energy can circulate,
And we don't get stuck as easily.
So allow your water to glow a little bit with aliveness.
Breathe in and absorb this sense of fluidity that you hold within you,
That you can access at any time if you need it.
And bring it to all aspects of your life.
As you wish.
And then just think about what you might bring with you into the rest of your day from this practice.
Maybe there's one word that describes something that you want to walk away with.
Take a deep breath in.
Complete breath out.
Thanks for joining me for this session today.
And I look forward to connecting with you tomorrow for day 12.
