Sitting in the field of the heart.

Beginning the meditation by putting your hand on your heart.

And breathing in the chest and heart area.

Letting yourself really drop down into the heart.

And see if you can rest in the heart.

Almost like sitting in a field on a summer day.

Just sitting in it with openness and curiosity.

And calm.

What's it like just sitting in the heart area resting there effortlessly?

And if your thoughts try to come in and you pop back up into your head,

That's okay.

But just coming back down.

Feeling your hand on your heart.

And sitting back down in that field of the heart.

And as you rest in the heart listening,

Listening with care and connection.

Listening to what the heart has to say.

Giving your undivided attention to the heart.

What does it want to tell you?

We listen so much to the mind and now we're asking the heart with sincerity and calm and connection.

What do you want to tell me?

Or since the heart is sometimes non-verbal,

What do you want to show me?

Letting yourself take in any messages from the heart right now.

Letting yourself take in any messages from the heart right now.

Is there more?

Is there more the heart needs you to know or see or get?

Is there more the heart needs you to know or see or get?

Okay.

Using another minute to see if there's anything else the heart would like to communicate.

Of course.

.

And then thanking the heart.

Appreciating its perspective and its wisdom.

And when you're ready,

Opening your eyes.

And you don't have to lose that heart perspective.

When you open your eyes,

You can come back to it over and over again throughout the day.

How does the heart see this?

We know how the mind sees this.

How does the heart see it?

And especially how does your infinite and eternal heart see this now and this and this?

Asking yourself that over and over again as a practice throughout the day.
