Peacefully drift off to sleep simply by listening to this meditation and wake up feeling well rested with a warm smile in your heart as your eyes have closed down now your body knows you are signaling to it to go to sleep and you don't need to try and do anything consciously as your body knows how to drift to sleep as it is the most natural effortless process you've done many times before which means you don't need to try to force it because you can simply let your body rest to sleep for you whilst you drift gently within feeling grounded and warm in the meantime your body remembers the feeling of peacefully falling asleep without you doing anything but gently breathing in and out breathing in breathing out and you can now remember the feeling of being cozy and relaxed because your body and mind remembers this feeling well you are a part of nature just like birds and other animals the birds have gone to sleep now and will wake up singing with joy when they know it's time when they've had the restful sleep their bodies so effortlessly softened into and that means your body can sleep easily now too and as you breathe deeper you feel your left arm begin to let go and relax deeply into the surface below you and now your right arm has followed your left and softened into the surface beneath you as you gently breathe in and out your neck melts into the pillow your head is resting on which means you're ready to let go fully and any stress or thoughts that were on your mind before you closed your eyes you now imagine them as a floating ball of blue light out in front of you and you can become aware of how these thoughts are just floating there they have nothing to do right now but simply float and as you see that ball of blue light over there you now see it gently shrinking smaller and smaller and smaller and smaller until it's now the size of a pebble and you now can place this small pebble of light gently on the ground because you know there's another time a better time to focus on it and you know you can simply pick up this pebble of light anytime you wish as you are in control of it but for now the pebble rests peacefully on the ground as you effortlessly drift to sleep with that cozy warm feeling coming back you remember how good it feels to feel this feeling as it begins to grow from your heart and flow to your belly as your body drifts to sleep with ease you know you don't need to try to do anything because your body and mind are simply listening to these gentle words even as you now fall to sleep automatically feeling lighter and free because you're remembering these warm cozy feelings that means your body feels relaxed and has begun its natural function of going to sleep and your heart space begins to form a gentle smile that spreads through your whole body because you know you're going to have a restful sleep and this feeling in your heart will still be there when you wake up because your body is remembering this smiling sensation more and more as it's a natural feeling because it expands on the natural feelings of love and joy and satisfaction you remember you remember feeling this feeling as a child and you can recall how easily you fall asleep and your body knows this all too well which means you're drifting to sleep now and as you're asleep your body rests your body knows how to naturally sleep and restore as sleeping is like pressing a reset button because you are worthy of a deep restful sleep and as you feel your legs and arms getting heavier and heavier you're now in a deep sleep good night
