Close your eyes and now turn your attention to your breathing.

Feel the air coming in and out through your nostrils.

Notice the capacity of air that you're taking in and watch it as it flows in and out.

Open your jaw wide now,

Lowering your lower jaw towards your chest.

And maybe this will induce a yawn.

Once again relax and watch the breathing.

In a very long,

Slow,

Deep breath,

Pause for a moment and then slowly,

Slowly begin to exhale,

Watching it disappear like a lazy river into the distance.

If you need to shift anything in your body to be even more comfortable,

You can do it right now.

Notice the surface where you are,

Whether you're seated or lying down,

And sense it cradling and supporting you.

Now with whichever part of you is articulated and touching this surface,

I want you to imagine roots beginning to grow down deeper out of you through the surface where you are and into the earth.

If you're inside a building,

You can imagine them going down through the surface where you are,

Through the floor,

And through the crust of the earth going deeper and deeper until you merge with the center of the earth.

And there you can begin to draw up warm,

Positive energy up through your roots.

You could have a single root or many.

Feel that energy come up through the bottom of you and draw it all the way up into your heart space.

Now maintaining that connection,

Take a part of your awareness and begin to move up out of your skull,

Out of the top of your head.

Fly up through the space where you are,

And if you're inside,

Through the ceiling and through the roof of the building,

Flying up to whatever distance feels comfortable to you.

You can go out beyond the sky,

Up past the clouds,

And into space.

There,

Sense the unconditional love of the universe and the oneness.

Now take this and beam it down to where your physical body is,

Down through the clouds and the sky,

Down through the roof and the ceiling,

Through the top of your head,

And into your heart space.

And there in your heart space,

Let that energy of love from above merge and join with the earth rooted energy.

Watch as it creates light.

Maybe this is a golden light.

See it begin to fill your heart space and watch as it grows and begins to fill your entire chest and then your entire body.

You can beam this positive,

Loving energy out to any beings near you.

It can go out into your neighborhood and out filling all of the area,

And it can go out even further.

Sense the true connectedness of grounding and centering and unconditional love.

Notice that you are truly connected to everything in the universe.

Now I want you to imagine three things that have occurred in the last 24 hours that you are truly grateful for.

Feel the happiness and gratitude.

This could be something simple like a smile you received or something great that you ate or a drink of water when you were thirsty.

Feel the happiness all throughout your body and your energy fields.

Notice how the corners of your mouth turn into a little smile.

Next we're going to free ourselves from negative charges.

Imagine the last 24 hours.

Let a situation flash into your awareness that frustrated you or maybe even brought you some anger.

Imagine the person that this brings up and see this person standing right in front of you,

A safe distance away.

Look deeply into their eyes and feel their energy and allow yourself to feel the sensations in your body that created this negative charge.

Look deeply into their eyes and ask for forgiveness,

Forgiveness for harboring these feelings and still carrying them around.

Feel this other person.

Accept and feel them.

Feel the forgiveness as if you're seeing it.

Let this sensation fill your entire body.

Now watch their face and listen to their voice as they ask you for forgiveness for this is a two-way interchange.

Feel the energy shift in your body as you give the forgiveness and watch as they absorb it and accept it.

Feel yourself receiving the forgiveness.

Now I want you to imagine where you want to be in three years.

So often we set goals for ourselves and we think in only the short term or at the most a year from now because we often overestimate what we can accomplish in one year's time.

But we underestimate what we can achieve and accomplish in three years.

So let yourself move that timing more distant into the future and imagine what you would like to accomplish in three years.

It's okay if you're not getting a clear image.

You can ask a question.

Make it a lofty question,

A chunked up question.

Think about the types of experiences you would want to have,

The types of growth that you crave,

The types of contributions you want to make and what it would be like for these to come into being.

These questions could be something like,

What would it be like for me to experience?

And you could fill this in with your own ideas.

Now I want you to imagine what today is going to be like from the moment you open your eyes after this guided meditation experience through the end of your day.

Imagine the conversations you'll be having,

The food you'll be eating,

The places you'll be going,

The activities you'll be doing,

All the way to the end of the day and even setting an intention for a great night's sleep.

Next,

Call in a spirit guide,

A god or a goddess,

A guardian in your mind's eye.

This could be an angel.

Know that they have your back and they support you.

Feel their love and receive their blessing.

You can stay here as long as you like.

When you're ready,

You can slowly open your eyes,

Beginning to take in the light and shapes and forms of the space around you,

Feeling the corners of your mouth turned up in a little smile ready for the best day ever.
