Close your eyes.

Just take a moment to feel what that feels like.

The eyelids lowering down and all at once just by shutting out the shapes and the light and the environment around you.

You feel at peace,

Comfortable,

Quiet.

What sounds in your body do you notice?

Is it the sound of your saliva?

Or maybe you can hear a rustle from clothing or your skin.

Now turn the attention of listening to your breath.

It's subtle and quiet.

But in this moment you might be inspired to take an even deeper breath or even lower your jaw and yawn.

Or sigh.

And notice how that smooths the next breath.

Let your palms of your hands find each other and gently rub them together just noticing the surface of the skin of the palms of your hands.

And then let them float up to your face and cup your cheeks so that the tips of your fingers rest gently on your eyelids.

The palms are cupping the cheeks,

The jawbone,

And your fingertips,

Maybe just a couple or several are lightly resting on your eyelids.

Just feel how nurturing this simple motion,

This simple gesture is.

And as you take your next breath,

Watch your fingers begin to move around your forehead.

Maybe they circle or stroke the temples to the sides of the eyes.

Or maybe they find their way,

Fingertips into the hair or scalp,

Making little circles,

Thumbs walking along the back of the neck.

Fingers beginning to melt and relax.

It's as if you're watching someone else.

Effortless.

The hands find their way to just the perfect area.

When you feel complete with that,

You can let them relax down either by your sides or to rest on your belly or in your lap.

And feel the after effects of just simple little motions.

Bathe in the relaxation it produced.

With your focus now on your breath once again,

Breathe and imagine that you're breathing into the bottoms of your feet and exhaling through the bottoms of your feet.

Let's do that again.

Exhaling through the bottoms of your feet and exhaling once again through the bottoms of your feet.

As you progress and continue to inhale,

Let the inhalation rise up from the bottoms of your feet into your lower legs and into your knees.

Exhaling once again out the bottoms of your feet.

Breathing the next breath in up past the knees into the thighs.

Each breath giving some new energy and light to the areas that you're breathing into.

Each exhalation removing anything that's no longer needed.

Exhaling up all the way into the hips and low back,

The belly.

Exhaling.

Inhaling all the way up through the torso,

Through all of the organs.

And exhaling.

Your next inhalation brings you all the way up to the shoulders and down the arms.

Exhaling and now you may even feel a little bit of the exhale coming out through your hands.

Inhaling all the way from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head.

And pausing.

And then slowly,

Slowly exhaling.

One more deep breath all the way up through your body.

Pausing and then exhaling.

You can continue to take deeper breaths if you feel comfortable with it or you can let your breathing gently relax.

Feel the surface where your body is.

Feel it cradling you and supporting you.

Notice how that awareness gives you more rooted sensation.

And fly up and out through the top of your head and beam down self-love.

Let your rootedness come up into the area of the heart.

Let the self-love mingle in there and let it spread throughout your body and even beyond the boundaries of your physical body into the space around you.

Let it fill the entire area.

Let it keep expanding.

If you're inside,

Imagine this energy filling you,

Expanding through the space and out through the walls.

Feel it coming from your heart.

Each breath filling you with more compassion for yourself.

Each exhalation giving this compassion to everything and all.

Now as you inhale,

Begin to draw in energy.

It's as if you're plugged in and you're recharging your battery.

Inhaling,

Feeling the spark of creativity,

The energy of movement just beginning to fill you up.

Exhaling anything that may be still feeling like it wants to rest.

Bring it that nurturance it needs and each inhalation bringing even more power and energy into you.

It's as if you've floated beyond the boundaries of what you perceive as your body and you're in a thin layer of yourself where everything is righted.

Everything is reset.

In this bliss layer,

Let ideas of intention come into focus.

Just let them float in.

Now see the things,

The tasks that you would like to do with the rest of your day.

See them getting done easily,

Swiftly,

Effortlessly.

Taking you all the way to when it's time to sleep later today or tonight.

See yourself carrying this positive energy with you as you sleep very,

Very deeply later and awaken the next day excited,

Rejuvenated and ready for the best day ever.

Notice how the corners of your mouth have curled into a little smile and whenever you feel ready,

You can start to move your fingers and toes.

Slowly slowly begin to move your arms and legs.

Ever so gently begin to blink the eyes open,

Coming back to the space around you.

Relaxed.

Recharged and ready.
