Finding a comfortable position.

Relaxing.

And just getting the idea of letting go.

Letting go of the week.

Letting go of the day.

Letting go of anything you might have carried forward to this moment.

That's not really serving a purpose any longer.

And it's okay to just let it go on the next exhalation.

And now take in a deep breath through your nose,

If that's available to you.

And watch as that air starts to just leave the body.

Gently floating like a breeze out from you.

Let the next inhalation come.

And this time pause for just a moment.

And now begin to release the air.

Slowly,

Slowly.

Watching it gently curve and stretch into the distance.

That's right.

Taking another deep breath in again.

Pausing.

Noticing the stillness,

The quiet in that pause.

And slowly releasing the air.

Pausing again at the bottom of the breath.

Now if you want,

You can continue breathing like this for several more breaths.

Or you can let your breath return to a comfortable,

Relaxed rhythm and depth.

You're starting to feel your body relax.

Maybe it needs to shift just a little bit.

A shoulder,

A hip,

An ankle,

Or a wrist.

And as you do,

You might hear some sounds coming from deep inside of you.

There could be sensations.

Little energetic releases.

Notice how just in a few breaths,

How much more relaxed you feel.

How much more peaceful the mind is.

It's as if a great canvas,

Awaiting the painting of your words,

Spreads out before you.

Asking you to pick up your pen.

And in your dreams tonight,

Create.

As you breathe and begin to float here,

Comfortable and relaxed.

Let these words,

Like seeds,

Plant and begin to sprout in your dreams tonight.

So that in the morning,

When you awaken,

You'll bring these ideas back with you.

With excitement and the juiciness of creativity to flood onto the pages of your journal.

Notice how your feet and your ankles,

Your calves,

And your knees are completely relaxed.

It's as if they're melting and drifting away.

And that delicious feeling seeps upwards into the thighs,

The hips,

The buttocks,

Low back,

And belly.

Becoming ever so relaxed.

The chest gently rises on the inhalation.

And floats deeper and deeper in relaxation upon each exhale.

Your shoulders and neck,

Totally relaxed.

You can't even remember what tension feels like in your arms or elbows,

Your forearms and wrists,

Your fingers just relaxing.

Each breath creates space.

Space where the thoughts were to just drift in an ocean of your creativity.

Every hair on the head,

Every pore of the skin.

Just relaxing and releasing.

Now in this relaxed state,

Everything is righted.

There's nothing to do,

Nowhere to be.

Just letting the energies of your creativity flood into each cell and fill the spaces in between.

If there are questions you have,

The answers will come to you in your dreams tonight.

You're ready to just let go and drift off now.

Each breath rolling gently in.

And moving out,

Even more relaxed.

Ready for sleep.

Welcoming the creativity of dreams.

Feeling yourself drifting off.

Relaxing more.

Sleeping.

Comfortably.

Safely.

Peacefully.
