This is a Yoga Nidra session for invoking Lucid Dreaming or a deep, relaxed sleep. For Lucid Dreaming, get cozy and tucked in, as if you're seeking a deep sleep. Ambika begins by chanting a mantra, followed by a soothing practice designed to stabilise and calm, the body and mind. This practice is also perfect for plane trips or times when you are seeking a regular, deeper sleep. Note: Be advised to only use this track, when you are ready to have a nap or go to sleep, as Ambika does not bring you back out of the meditation. Also, be advised to not listen to this while operating a car or any form of heavy equipment. It is not necessary to use headphones but they will enhance this unique experience.

So get your body into a very comfortable position and close your eyes and we'll begin to quiet the mind.

Just notice how your body can be very,

Very still.

Let go.

Let go of all thought,

Worry,

Tension.

We're going to just give ourselves over.

Could be to a higher power.

Could just be to the idea of trust or relaxation.

We're just going to let go.

Breathe in fully.

And as you exhale,

You can exhale with a bit of a sigh.

And then let's take another deep breath in.

And then exhale again.

Let go even more.

Let's take another deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Feel a deep sense of contentment and peace in your heart.

I'm going to chant a little bija mantra,

A seed sound.

Ghaan Ghaan Ghaan Notice your heart space.

Feel the warmth of you inside of you.

With each new sound,

Feel your body relaxing even more.

And from this very relaxed,

Unified place,

Follow my guidance as we begin the So Hum breath.

So start by breathing in and out just through your nostrils.

And guide your breath and attention steadily from the area of the third eye along the spine,

Ending at the base of the spine.

And as you exhale,

Guide your breath and attention upwards along the length of the spine to the third eye.

So you're circulating the breath,

Breathing in and down the spine and exhaling and guiding the breath up the length of the spine to the third eye.

Stay focused with the pathway and the feeling of the energy of this breath.

And now in your mind,

In the sound of your mind,

Imagining that my voice is your inner voice echoing inside of you,

We'll add the sound of Ghaan as if we're breathing so on the inhale as we go down the spine and then hummm as we exhale coming up the spine.

Hummm.

Continue hearing the sound as you breathe.

Sound,

Breath,

Sensation and attention in complete synchronicity.

Ghaan.

Hummm.

Experience it.

Ghaan.

Hummm.

Ghaan.

Hummm.

Let it absorb you.

Feel yourself melting into oneness.

Ghaan.

Hummm.

You could even add in if you like the idea of that I am.

That I am.

That I am.

Ghaan.

Hummm.

Now let your breath relax and come to wherever it wants to be pace wise.

And bring your attention to rest in the area of the third eye.

Breathe your whole body and being in the unified experience of Soham.

Experience the stillness.

Feel your entire body lying still,

Safe and comfortable.

Give yourself the permission to enter the deepest level of relaxation right now.

Let go.

Let go completely.

If you need to adjust your body at all to be just a little bit more comfortable,

You are welcome to.

I invite you to stay in touch with my guidance the entire time.

In Yoga Nidra you enter the subconscious pranic field,

The energy field.

You'll shift from thinking and doing to feeling and being.

Do nothing.

From now on simply relax.

Drop in.

Drop into the deepest state of tranquility,

Stillness and peace in the third eye.

For now your consciousness is in direct communication through the energy body.

I'm going to lead you on a path of 61 points through the body.

Just follow the guidance and notice the areas.

There's nothing to do.

But just follow along.

We'll begin in the area of the third eye,

The brow center.

Imagine the point in between the eyebrows,

In the center line of the nose.

And now drop two to three inches inside the skull.

It's as if you're in a cave of meditation inside the skull.

You can sit down there in the direction facing the inside of the forehead.

It's like a dark screen,

Like a dark movie screen.

And if a thought or sensation or idea floats across the screen,

Simply say there goes one and return to the breath and bathing in the energy of the third eye.

Now follow my guidance through the points of the body,

Beginning with the third eye.

The base of the throat,

The right shoulder,

Right elbow,

Right wrist,

Tip of the right thumb,

Right index finger,

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

Little finger,

Right wrist,

Base of the throat,

Left shoulder,

Tip of the left thumb,

Base of the throat.

The right nipple,

Center of the heart space,

Center of the heart space,

Dropping down just behind the navel,

Tip of the pubic bone,

The right hip,

Right knee,

Right ankle,

Tip of the right big toe,

Right second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

Tip of the pubic bone,

Just behind the navel,

Center of the heart space,

Base of the throat.

Returning now to the third eye.

Gathering all of your awareness into this brow center.

Observe the vast silence.

Rest in this vast piece.

Allow whatever comes into your field of awareness to be present without judgment or comment.

Witnessing as it floats by like clouds in the sky.

As I name body parts,

Bring your total attention,

Accompanied by a feeling of heaviness,

Sinking,

Sinking like a stone and water.

Both feet heavy,

Heavy like stones.

Calves and knees heavy sinking deeper.

Thighs and hips very heavy like lead.

Abdomen,

Chest and back,

Gravity pulling you down deeper.

Shoulders,

Arms and palms very,

Very heavy.

Give your body completely and totally to the omnipresent field of gravity.

Now experience your whole body heavy like a rock.

Feel your body sinking deeper and deeper and deeper.

Just let go into the gravity.

Sinking,

Sinking like a heavy stone.

Deeper into stillness and silent awareness.

And now the attention shifts.

Let the body become fluffy and light,

Buoyant like a cloud.

Both feet very light.

Calves and knees empty and free.

Feel it.

Thighs and hips hollow and weightless.

Abdomen,

Chest and back light and empty.

Shoulders,

Arms and palms floating.

Head hollow,

Empty.

Feel your whole body empty light,

Floating like a leaf on the breeze.

Let yourself be free.

Freedom beyond body and mind.

Freedom of past and future.

Feeling completely safe and secure.

Give yourself permission and freedom to float out of the physical body and drift.

Let yourself getting lighter and lighter until you begin to float in the air,

A safe distance from the physical body.

Witness the body completely at peace,

Resting in stillness.

Enjoy the spirit freed from all limitations.

Imagine that you can do this in your dreams tonight.

Easily,

Gently,

Safely.

Feel as the body becomes purified.

For it is a temple in which the spirit is manifest.

Very gently,

Let yourself drift back into the body.

Remain deeply established in your connection with spirit and deep faith and trust.

If you like,

You can bring your forefingers and thumb together.

Of each hand establishing your physical connection with the protection and guidance of inner presence.

This gesture can restore peace in all stressful situations.

It connects you with your inner guide for guidance,

Protection and solutions to any challenges you encounter in everyday life.

Allow the awareness to come back to the eyebrow center,

The third eye.

There's nothing to do or achieve.

You've entered the domain of grace.

In this domain of integration,

You are witness of all that is happening,

But doing nothing to make it happen.

Feel completely safe and comfortable as you hand yourself over to the power and protection of the presence.

Feel it.

Experience it.

Be it.

Hand over all fear,

Apprehension and anxiety about all that you want to change,

Control and manage.

Let go of all doing.

Replace it with trust and faith in the higher power.

Let your mind merge and melt into the presence and enter the sanctuary of silence.

Remain empty and free from all doing.

Feel yourself as time transcendent presence right now.

Imagine my voice as your voice echoing inside.

Hear these words as your own words.

I feel complete freedom from managing,

Controlling or needing anything outside of myself.

All burden is lifted.

I returned to my inner self healing source of deep stillness and relaxation.

Every cell in my body is filled with the radiant healing light from within.

As I focus on the spot between my eyebrows,

The healing transformative power of the pineal gland is reactivated.

Allow the entire self to respond spontaneously and effortlessly to what I say.

In silent witness,

I am at peace in the midst of chaos.

I am stillness in action.

I remain changeless in the midst of change.

I am liberated from all becoming and live in the power of being that I am.

I am a clear channel for the free flow of divine guidance.

I remember my vivid dreams clearly and write them in the morning when I awake.

I am at peace with myself and the world as it is.

I am at peace with myself and the world as it is.

I am at peace with myself and the world as it is.

Now very gradually,

You can begin to feel the body again as if you're waking from a very restful sleep.

You can start to feel your fingers and toes.

Notice the breath against the front edges of the nostrils.

Continue to stay deep and in this deep inner experience.

Regardless of what you consciously recognize that has or has not changed,

Know that something deep within has shifted to connect you to your positive intention.

Take your time.

Become aware of the body and bring a deep sense of peace and contentment with you as you bring your awareness back to the body.

Notice your breath.

Feel the air coming in and out through the nose,

Through the nostrils.

And notice how relaxed the body is and how soft the breath is.

Notice how quiet the mind is.

Notice how peaceful the heart is.

Feel the stillness and be grateful.

Know that you can easily enter here again and again.

Each time you touch your index fingers to your thumbs and create that circle,

You can return here in just a breath.

And you're welcome to stay right where you are as long as you need.

And whenever you're ready,

Just quietly move.

You'll enjoy a very deep,

Very restful sleep this evening.

The questions that you have,

You can think about them before you fall asleep.

And then in the morning,

You'll have the solutions and answers.

I believe this was a very good meditation. I don’t remember it. I just remember sleeping. Thank you.

A fine exercise. (I found it too interesting to fall asleep to, so I enjoyed the full body scan and felt a bit more refreshed after the recording was over, which was my ultimate intention in any case.)

I woke at 3.30 with anxious sensations coursing through my body. After going to bathroom and giving myself 10 minutes to fall asleep again i listened to this yoga nidra I'd bookmarked. It was wonderful, thank you. I'm aware of drifting through different layers of consciousness and dreams, and I awoke at a little after 5 (I don't use an alarm any more) feeling so relaxed and well-rested and peaceful and grateful - I usually don't feel like this without another hour of meditation. Thank you, so much. 💕

Really enjoy this different take on classic yoga nidra. I’ve been using it nearly every night, and have only made it to the end once due to falling asleep! I flew just the other night in my dream, have noticed having more choice in my dreams, and haven’t had any nightmares. Love the so hum breathing.

Wow, I layed down for a nap and had the most vivid dreams! I don't think I even made it through the meditation before falling asleep. So amazing thank you.
