Welcome,
My dear friends.
It's always an honor to be able to guide you through in these times of need for oneself to drop in and offer increased self-care,
Self-nourishment and agency over one's wellbeing.
And in this particular meditation,
We'll be delving into some poetic nuances.
That surround our heart,
Our heart space,
This pulmonary place of compassion,
Care and unconditional love.
And so to arrive for this,
I invite you first to make yourself as comfortable and steady wherever you've chosen to be in this moment.
Connecting those parts of you further,
Deeper down into your earth,
Perhaps underneath your seat bones,
Underneath your feet.
Bring your attention to these parts of you and to this relationship between you and your surroundings.
Begin to notice your breath,
Another very important relationship,
And a little closer to home,
To yourself and your nervous system.
What messages is your breath sending to your mind and to the varying systems that keep you moving,
Awakening to all that is.
If you haven't already,
Perhaps placing one of your palms to your heart space and bringing the other on top,
Really weighing down and bringing comfort,
This tangible connection to your heart space.
Checking on in,
Noticing how you're truly doing in this moment.
Offer yourself a beautiful deep breath,
Allowing your exhale to extend and then puffing fresh oxygen back into your lungs,
Allowing your belly,
Your diaphragm to press down and out,
Expanding fully to wholehearted potential of what you deserve and what in turn you have to offer.
Keeping gentle focus to your breathing,
We now gift you a lovely turn to your heart.
My heart,
I am so grateful for you.
You love so compassionately,
Passionate and wild.
You gift me life,
One full of life and learning.
I am grateful for the smell of metal running through these channels of vitality,
For the oxygen that exists to be around and within,
For the marrow and muscle you feed,
For the systems that restore,
Form and enliven,
For movement,
Connection and love.
My heart,
I thank you.
What would I do without you?
Let us take a deep breath together,
Dear ones.
Inhale fully,
Exhale completely.
From my heart to yours,
Namaste.
