You find your way into stillness,
Into the meditation posture of your choice.
Letting this be the moment to integrate the past weekend,
The past week,
The past month,
The entire year.
As you breathe,
Feel your breath.
Did you feel your breath?
Think about what this year has meant to you in a phrase or a sentence.
What the past year means to you.
And using this time to surrender the doing and allow yourself to be as you reflect.
The reflection is empowerment so that you can make a better decision now,
Now,
Right now,
To create who you want to be in the future.
Who do you want to be?
What do you want to do differently next year?
When you notice your mind thinking of something else other than the reflection of this past year or your future goal for next year,
Come back to reflect on the past as you contemplate what you'd like to do differently as you move forward.
So just taking a few more moments to move into your heart to reflect on this past year,
That what you accomplished and achieved,
Things that you learned,
And what it is you'd like to do differently now to create who you'd like to be in 2021.
So a few more breaths here.
And as you reflected on the past,
You thought about the future,
You arrived back here in your body with your breath in the space that you started in your room.
Take a few moments here and when you're ready,
You can begin to open your eyes,
Grab your journal and jot down what you learned this year,
Where you want to go.
