Hi and welcome to this guided meditation to help you feel more calm,
Centered and refreshed.
So allow yourself now to get into a really comfortable position.
The more comfortable you are,
The easier it will be for you to fully relax.
Feel the weight of your body on the surface beneath you.
Let your cheeks relax,
Your jaw soften,
Slightly part the teeth and bring your awareness to the breath.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhaling,
Fully emptying out the lungs.
Feel your sitting bones resting down deep into the earth.
Inhaling deeply,
Exhaling slowly.
That's it.
Now on your next inhale,
Roll the shoulders up towards the sky and let them glide down naturally back down into the earth.
Exhaling fully.
Now allow yourself to fully let go of any tension,
Any worries and any projects or things you have to do.
Just set all of that aside for now.
Now just pause,
Being aware of your inhale.
Feel the rising of the belly and the chest,
Slowly exhaling.
Now imagine that there is a beautiful gold shimmering light.
It's surrounding your entire being,
All the way from the tips of your toes to the crown of your head.
Your entire body is beaming with this golden light.
As you inhale,
You draw this light into your body,
Deep into your skin,
Your bone,
Your muscles,
Deep into your cells,
Into your organs,
Your lungs,
Into your heart.
Now as you exhale,
You breathe it out into the world,
Inhaling calm,
Peace,
Love.
Now exhaling everything that no longer serves you.
Inhaling peace,
Calm and love.
Exhaling everything that no longer benefits your higher self.
And now remember that you can always return to this beautiful,
Calming place whenever you need,
Because this sanctuary is within you.
It is only a few breaths away.
Now,
When you are ready,
Gently return your awareness to the surroundings,
Feeling the surface beneath you,
Becoming aware of any sounds or smells around you,
Bringing the awareness back to the fingers,
Gently wiggling your fingers and your toes.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes and greet this moment with a gentle smile.
