So let's take a really slow,
Deep,
Releasing breath together to mark the transition that we're making now.
So really deep breath right down into your belly,
Hunching your shoulders right up to your ears and then let your body go.
Emptying out and let's spend a little bit of time focusing on our breath as you lie here quietly.
Let's take a few more really slow,
Really low,
Releasing breaths.
My invitation to you right now is to slow right down,
To really give yourself a break.
Nothing that you need to get right.
For now,
Just really being with the immediate feeling of your breath.
As you breathe,
Really low.
Tummy rising as you breathe in,
Tummy dropping as you breathe out.
And all that's being asked of you right now is just to notice the very simple experience,
Body breathing.
The inhalation is a receiving,
Really being open,
Opening wider and wider.
The exhalation is a giving back,
A handing everything over and emptying out.
And really go with that,
Give yourself full permission to just let it all go and in fact,
Even giving yourself permission is too much work now.
I'm inviting you to drop into a space where there is already full permission for you to just let everything go and to be exactly as you are.
And for a moment,
Really let your body and your mind feel those words.
Not just a nice idea,
But on a really deep cellular level,
We are coming to rest in a space where there is an unconditional acceptance of everything that is present,
Moment by moment by moment.
Just really get a sense of that for a moment.
How would it be to drop into an effortless acceptance of this whole moment and everything is included,
Every mood,
Every condition of mind or body,
Every sound,
Every sensation,
Every movement of your mind has been accepted by this wider aspect of you that is asking you to come and rest right now,
That is asking you to surrender all the stories of the world and of your personal life,
That is inviting you to be just as you are.
Feel the relief of that,
An unconditional acceptance of now,
That you just have to sink back into.
Very simple,
Just like opening your hand if you were holding something hot and letting it all drop away.
And now that your breath has settled down,
See if you can stay with the simple experience,
Simply breathing,
Not changing your breath,
Not controlling your breath but just quietly noticing the parts of your body that move as body breathes,
Quietly noticing the slightly cooler air entering and the slightly warmer air leaving,
Quietly noticing the moment just before each breath turns,
Just before inhalation becomes exhalation and let that come to you.
Breath by breath by breath.
Safe,
Really safe.
Not only is this physical body safe right now,
But the wider safety.
The safety of your own presence is right here,
Inviting you to come home again and again.
And as we take our journey around the body,
I'm inviting you to really feel the aliveness of this body,
To feel where your head meets the pillow,
The immediate sensation and to let the weight of your head melt into that support.
If you're drifting off,
I'll keep calling you back,
I'll keep inviting you to really be here,
Shoulders emptying out.
Feel the space inside the mouth.
Notice the tug,
The hinges of your jaw,
Root of the tug,
Softening.
This whole body suspended in a warm bath of safety and gentleness,
Not just beneath but above,
To each side and permeating every cell.
Let your throat,
Invited to drop into the stillness that is right here,
Beneath all of the movement.
Let there be a softening of the whole face,
A softening of the ears,
No need to grasp at the words,
At just words,
Coming and going,
No need to make sense of anything.
And let your eyes soften right back,
Feel the weight of your eyes,
Supported in each socket,
The whole area around and behind eyes,
Releasing and letting go.
The temples,
Eyebrows,
Space behind eyes,
Welcoming whatever is appearing in the space behind your closed eyelids.
Just quietly noticing without any judgement what's appearing in that space,
Without trying to keep it.
The nerve connecting back of eyes to brain,
Softening.
You don't need to control your mind and not one thought is needed right now.
Just let thought be completely free.
Brain releasing its weight,
Back of the head,
Base of the skull,
Back of the neck,
The head of the skull,
The whole right arm.
Welcome the experience,
Right arm,
Not the image or the memory.
But the actual feeling,
Right arm,
Right hand.
Let the feeling come to you.
It's too much effort now to seek or try to find anything.
Let everything come to you.
Trusting that life will take care of itself,
Including this meditation.
And welcome the sensation,
Right palm.
Only feeling the direct sensation,
Right palm.
Thumb,
Second finger,
Third,
Fourth,
Little finger,
Wrist,
Forearm,
Elbow,
Upper arm,
Back of arm,
The ground,
Shoulder,
Armpit,
Right side of chest,
Right side of back.

Hip,
Thigh,
Knee,
Back of knee,
Shin,
Calf,
Ankle,
Heel,
Sole of right foot,
The whole right side of body.
Pouring like liquid down into the earth.
You are present.
You are presence itself.
You are aware.
You are awareness itself.
You are wide open,
Completely effortless.
Knowing presence that has said yes to this whole moment.
Welcome the experience.
Left arm,
Whole left arm.
Repeat that sensation as if for the first time.
Feel the weight.
Back of left arm.
The immediate sensation.
Back of left hand.
Noticing the sensation left palm.
Left palm.
Alive.
Thumb.
Second finger.
Third.
Fourth.
Little finger.
Releasing and letting go.
Forearm.
Elbow.
Upper arm.
Shoulder.
Armpit.
Left side of chest.
Left side of back.
The ground.
The touch of air on the skin.
Waist.
Hip.

Knee.
Back of knee.
Shin.
Cough.
Ankle.
Heel.
Soul of left foot.
Big toe.
Second.
Third.
Fourth.
Little toe.
The whole left side of body.
Releasing and letting go.
The whole body.
This whole body.
Invited to soften.
Maybe just a little more.
To unpack.
All that's being held.
And to surrender.
To hand everything over.
To your beloved true self.
This is just a reminder of who you truly are.
Of what you truly are.
Before body.
Before mind.
Before personality.
Before story.
And when all of that is stripped away.
In the willingness to know what remains.
We find ourselves.
Ever present.
Whole and complete.
Unblemished.
And from that realisation we meet.
All of our humanness.
With an inherent kindness.
An inbuilt care.
So I'm inviting you now.
To give up.
That last bit of clinging.
That last attachment.
To mind,
Body or world.
And to fall into the soft welcoming space.
Of your own being.

An aliveness,
A pulsation Waves of vibration arising and dissolving Let this body soak up the healing balm Let the bell soak up the peace,
Every muscle,
Every organ Every gland,
Every system deeply nourished Feel the sensation in your palms Let the sensation be free and now let your breath be free and allow your breath to deepen now Taking a few really slow,
Low,
Deep abdominal breaths Just let your body take over,
Let your breath be free of any pushing Just a very light touch of effort Breath going right down into your belly,
Tummy rising as you breathe in,
Tummy dropping as you breathe out And really be with your breath,
Feel the immediate sensation of that receiving,
Taking in that nourishment Feeding every cell of this body and then the emptying out of all that's not needed Giving it all away as you breathe out Just taking a few of these slow and deep breaths as you continue to rest in the sweetness of your own being Where you're free,
Completely free,
Sense that we share that space Sensing the deep connection,
The intimacy of just being Of life happening moment by moment And in these remaining moments call forward a prayer for your life,
Something that you really,
Really want Something that your heart belongs for Without referring to your mind,
But just a knowing,
Felt sense Of what your deepest being longs to express next in this life May you be well,
May you be happy,
And may you be at peace
