This Sacred Verse is a spoken word poem that offers a spiritual reflection on the inner terrain of spiritual ambition, where affirmation and intention become tangled with control and craving. With insight and humility, it traces the arc from metaphysical striving to surrendered presence. A crown earned not by conquest but by letting go, this piece is a reclamation of peace, a celebration of enoughness, and a reminder that the true magic is already here. The background music is whimsical and evokes a feeling of storytelling and humor.

Hi.

Welcome to your sacred verse.

I invite you to simply receive it.

Close your eyes.

Sit back.

Maybe put your feet up.

And allow the words,

The sounds,

The rhymes,

The stories to simply,

Softly,

Land.

Reading through my journals,

I see my striving.

Affirmations,

New moon intentions,

Metaphysical conniving.

Always reaching,

Wanting more.

Money,

Connection,

Clarity.

Never really satisfied.

Satiation,

A rarity.

An old habit,

Manifestation.

The art of creating life.

Using both will and metaphysics.

Result,

Internal strife.

One part of my mind saying,

Dream of what you desire.

Write it down,

Envision it.

It will be yours to acquire.

The other voice is quieter.

Peace,

Its only desire.

Proving the loud voice of wanting,

A wounded liar.

For so long I've been blind.

Unable to truly see.

All the wealth and all the goodness already surrounding me.

My gaze shift is subtle,

Yet creates a different view.

I'm now in a new reality.

Presence,

A psychedelic brew.

The landscape is inward,

Discerning and grounded.

What is right here now?

My gratitude,

Unbounded.

Peace is the prize,

When you desire what you have.

I learned this the hard way,

Tearing myself up into halves.

Telling life what to do,

Like a wizard gone bad.

Wielding intention like a sword.

Confused yogi,

Gone mad.

Then,

Grace intervened.

Washed so much away.

Softened like sea glass,

Deep change underway.

Little by little,

Releasing my grasp of both striving and control.

The mental lock,

Unclasped.

There is no controlling the ocean.

There is just riding the waves.

Life is the same.

This realization,

It saves.

So here I am now,

Writing all of this down.

The queen of presence.

Here,

Check out my crown.
