This guided practice invites the listener into a place of deep rest in themselves, abiding in the felt sense of their own existence, the simple feeling of being. As part of this practice of resting in being, the listener is invited to allow all of their experience to simply be.

Allow yourself to settle into a comfortable position with eyes open or closed.

For now,

There's no need to direct your focus or control any aspect of your experience.

Instead,

Let your attention wander.

Wherever it may happen to land is just fine.

Whatever you may be experiencing,

Whatever thoughts,

Feelings,

Or sensations may be present,

Just let yourself relax completely.

Allow everything about your experience to simply be,

Making no effort to resist or change it in any way.

As you relax,

I invite you to notice something,

And that is the simple fact that you exist.

Of course,

It's a fairly obvious thing that we are alive.

However,

This tends to get overlooked,

So just let yourself notice and appreciate it,

The fact that you are.

Feel it.

Feel the presence of you,

The presence of your own existence.

Feel how easy and natural it is to be.

Notice how it takes no effort,

No doing,

No work on your part to exist.

You simply are.

Life is here,

Present,

Without your having to do anything to make that so.

So just relax into that,

The effortless presence of you,

The presence of your own being.

You may begin to notice how relaxing it is to simply allow everything about you to be as it is.

Continue to rest and relax into that feeling,

And let yourself be relaxed.

Feel the presence of your own being,

The presence of your own existence.

Feel how it is.

Continue to rest and relax into that feeling,

What we could call the simple feeling of being.

Whatever is present,

Whether it's a sensation in your body or a thought in your mind,

Just let that be.

All you're doing right now is relaxing into being here,

Experiencing the moment as it is.

Whatever you happen to be feeling,

However you find yourself being in this moment,

Just allow yourself to relax into that.

As we draw this meditation to a close,

I invite you to bring this simple yet powerful practice into your daily walk of life.

Whether you feel at ease or stressed,

Happy or sad,

Clear or confused,

Allow yourself to find ease in the simple feeling of your own being.

Your own beingness is a powerful place of refuge,

A stable ground that's present in the midst of any challenging storms that may come your way.

Just know that regardless of what might be showing up in your life and experience,

You are,

You exist.
