Hi and welcome to this breathing guided meditation.

I invite you to take a seat on the floor or on a chair.

Place your hands comfortably on your lap or one on top of the other,

Whatever is more comfortable for you.

During this meditation we're going to connect with the power of our breath,

This power to transform our present moment into a place of safety,

A place that we can call our home,

Our sanctuary,

Where we can always find the peace that we yearn for.

If you haven't closed your eyes yet,

I invite you to close them when you're ready or I invite you to find a point where you can focus your vision in a relaxed,

Gentle way.

We will start with a counting exercise.

We will inhale and count to four.

We will hold our breath and count to three.

And we will exhale,

Counting to four.

Let's begin.

Inhale,

Count to four.

Hold,

Count to three.

Exhale,

Count to four.

Again.

Inhale,

Hold.

Exhale,

Hold.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Return to your regular breathing.

Relax the shoulders.

Relax the belly.

Relax the body.

Accept the mind as it is.

Accept any emotion or thought that is present.

One more time.

We will do the exercise.

Inhale to four.

Hold for three.

Exhale for four.

Let's begin.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Hold.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Hold.

One more time.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Together,

Let's take three mindful deep breaths.

Inhale deeply.

Exhale through your mouth.

Inhale again deeply.

Relax the shoulders.

Exhale through your mouth.

And last one on your own pace.

Return to your normal breathing when you're done.

And remember,

This calm that you feel right now,

This tranquility,

This peace is always within you a couple of breaths away.

Thank you.
