Hi this is Chris and welcome to this guided meditation.

Today I will guide you through a meditation that will help you embrace change.

Let's find a comfortable position either sitting on a chair or on the floor,

Whatever feels more comfortable for you.

Place your hands either on your lap in a relaxed way,

Adjust your body as it needs before you take a deep breath and close your eyes.

Get in touch with your rhythm of your body as it breathes.

Perhaps it's a little faster or normal,

However it is,

It's perfect.

That's how it should be at this moment.

You allow the breathing to flow naturally without the need to control.

You ensure that there's some tension in your head or your face,

Your neck,

Your shoulders are relaxed,

Your back is straight,

However we're not putting any tension either on our shoulders or our back or our belly muscles.

Our hands are also relaxed on top of our legs or on our lap,

Our legs are relaxed,

Our feet are free of tension.

This body is always changing,

Our hair grows,

Our nail grows,

We get older.

It's part of the human experience.

Every day we embrace change without even knowing.

Our physical appearance changes and we don't even notice and we embrace it,

We accept it because it's part of life.

External change is always happening ongoing as well.

Everything has a beginning and an end and it's always in transformation.

I invite you to repeat a couple of phrases with me.

Change is part of human nature.

I embrace the change happening in my life at this time.

I open myself to new perspectives.

I open myself to new ways of being,

Seeing and experiencing the world.

I am always safe.

Change is inevitable.

I have tools to cope with difficult change.

You may place a hand in your heart and repeat,

I am safe.

I embrace change.

I open my heart and my mind to new perspectives.

One more time,

I am safe.

I embrace change.

I open my heart and mind to new perspectives.

I am safe.

I embrace change.

I open my heart and mind to new perspectives.

I am safe and you may feel the safety that is present in you always.

I embrace change.

Change is good.

Change is always happening and I embrace it.

I open my heart and my mind to new perspectives.

If you find resistance in the body or the mind,

It's normal.

Just take a deep breath and just repeat the sentences.

I am safe.

I embrace change.

I am open to new perspectives.

I am safe.

I embrace change.

I open my heart and my mind to new perspectives.

You are safe and you are part of this changing body,

Changing mind.

I invite you to take a deep breath.

Leave with your breathing for a few seconds as you embrace this new open heart and open mind to whatever change is happening in your life right now.
